"I had a memorable and comfortable stay at The Royal Alana Yogyakarta. As a relatively new hotel, the overall interior and facilities are still in very good condition and give a modern and elegant impression. There were, however, a few minor concerns during my stay that I believe could be improved: * The bathroom area has an open ceiling, which could be reviewed from both an aesthetic and maintenance perspective. * The TV remote in the room had some dust on it and could have been cleaned more thoroughly. * The wardrobe felt rather small, and once clothes were placed on the hangers, the wardrobe could not be fully closed. * The water pressure in the bathroom was relatively low. * The breakfast selection was quite extensive, which I appreciated, but in terms of taste, I felt that the dishes could be more distinctive and flavorful. * The table-clearing service could be improved, as I found my table already occupied with used plates and dishes that had not yet been cleared. A faster response in clearing tables would make the breakfast experience more comfortable and enjoyable. On the positive side, I really like the hotel's location. It is a great choice for those who prefer a quiet and relaxing place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are also plenty of cafés and restaurants around the hotel, including areas that are quite popular and trendy among Gen Z. I particularly enjoyed the lobby area. Although it is not overly large, the interior looks grand and elegant. I also liked the foyer area, which was nicely complemented by traditional Indonesian snacks, a coffee and tea station, as well as refreshing welcome drinks. The check-in and check-out processes were also very smooth and hassle-free, which made the overall experience even more comfortable. I would also like to give a special Thanks to the Director of Sales, Shout out to Mr. Jay who kindly took the time to greet me and my friend during breakfast and personally asked about our experience, including the food, service, and other aspects of our stay. I truly appreciated this personal attention. It made us feel that our feedback was genuinely heard and valued. Even though we shared a few concerns during our stay, the fact that the management took the initiative to listen and engage with us personally made the experience feel much more thoughtful and welcoming. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at The Royal Alana Yogyakarta. With a few improvements to the minor details mentioned above, I believe the hotel has great potential to deliver an even better guest experience."
