Annova Nha Trang Hotel

Booked a family suite with two large beds, perfect for us with two kids. However, the hotel looks pretty ordinary, and the room doesn't have a sea view. Plus, the pool temperature was too low; the kids were playing in the middle of summer and their lips actually turned blue from the cold.

Great location! It's right by the beach and close to Lotte Mart. The city center and Dam Market are also easily accessible. The only downside was that the pool water was too cold, even during the hot daytime, so we couldn't really use it. The cleanliness could have been a bit better, but overall it was a good stay. The water pressure was fine.

This hotel is incredibly stingy. They actually charge for extra bottles of water, and these bottles are tiny, 330ml just isn't enough. This low rating is entirely because of this water bottle policy.

1. I booked one room, but was given a different one. When I asked why, they said it was an equivalent room and they couldn't switch it because the other rooms were occupied. They promised to show me other rooms the next day. And what happened? That's right, no one ever came. 2. The elevators. You have to wait 10-15 minutes. I got so frustrated once that I took the fire escape. 3. Cockroaches... They're constantly running around, especially at night. My child was afraid to go into the bathroom. Would I recommend it? 100% no. They clearly gave themselves a 5-star rating. I've stayed at other hotels in Nha Trang, and there are much nicer and more comfortable options available.

The staff aren't attentive; they only open doors for Chinese guests and only take luggage for Chinese guests. It's quite noticeable. The cleaning is poor; we had to insist on getting our bed linen changed once in 10 days. The bathmat was never changed in 10 days. Cleaning only lasts 10-15 minutes. You can't get an elevator; you might wait 5-15 minutes. There's nothing for children to eat in the dining hall, and water is scarce. The coffee machines are dirty, and on the 28th floor, there's no coffee at all, just Americano. No water available. At 9:40 AM, they go around the tables and indicate the buffet closes at 9:45 AM, then they kick you out. This is nowhere near a five-star standard. The sunbeds on the beach from the hotel are supposedly free, but they sell them for 400,000. A solid three-star at best. I have other places to compare it to. I hope they improve their staff operations and monitor the quality of cleaning and hygiene. I'm writing this review as honestly as possible. All the best 🙌

Booking hotels in Vietnam really tests your patience, especially if you have an inherent fear of cockroaches. That's why I mainly looked at negative reviews when booking in advance. Luckily, the hotel I chose was pretty good, and the breakfast was quite substantial. The picture shows the view from the hotel balcony.

After a few nights at the Nha Trang Beach Resort, which was too far and isolated from the city, I switched to this hotel. It's much cheaper and the location is excellent, right across from Lotte Mart with plenty of food options nearby.
