The Shaw Club Hotel

Do not book in the rooms in the adjacent building. We thought a room with a fireplace in the middle of winter would be great, but the room was very,very tired with an old Jacuzzi tub IN THE ROOM! They tell you there is a flight of stairs you have to go up to get to the rooms,but they are very steep and narrow making it difficult to get your luggage up. The dark narrow hallway at the top of the staircase reminded us of The Shinning. If you want ice or water, it is in the other building and you either go out in the cold or ask them to get some for you - but you still need to give them the ice bucket and a tip. There is only coffee in the for you to have in the morning, but you can it can be delivered to your room - tipping again. Their main building looks nice and very modern and we did enjoy the dining room although it has very limited hours. We needed another coffee cup because of a large chip in it, but couldn't get one because the dining room didn't open until 5. Their front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating, but they are the ones that must leave their post and make the deliveries. The bathroom has no heat source, so we propped the door open with a bag to warm it up. Very, very disappointed with the room,but not the service only that you had to be tipping for things that should have been in the room.

It was a great experience. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the fridge in our room wasn’t working so we had to leave anything refrigerated at the front desk.

Nice small boutique hotel. Very pleasant restaurant, small but nice menu.

Dinner was a bit late coming but delicious

Great stay at the Shaw Club -room was spacious and comfortable and the location can’t be beat!!! Staff was friendly and welcoming too! We were able to walk to Two Sisters/Kitchen 76 for dinner! We were only able to stay 1 night but can’t wait to return to Shaw Club and explore more of NOTL!!

Great location and service

The room was very quiet and in a great location to be able to walk everywhere. Everything was extremely comfortable.

We stayed at The Shaw Club for two nights and thought it was fantastic. Very friendly desk staff at check-in and greeting us as we came and went over the weekend. The room was clean, with a fantastic rain shower and jetted tub, comfy bed, and macaroons! A reusable shopping bag in your room as you arrive is a handy way to consolidate all your purchases taking advantage of the great shopping just steps away. So many coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants to enjoy, within easy walking distance and don’t forget the wineries! It’s a fantastic choice and we would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant location, close to the areas that we wanted to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our inquiries.
