Holiday Inn Express NICE - GRAND ARENAS by IHG

Conveniently located near the airport and train station, the hotel is clean and the staff are all highly professional. It's perfect for business travelers. Breakfast is decent, with freshly baked bread that tastes great.

The room was spacious, and the bed, despite being listed as 0.8m, felt at least 1m and was very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent; it was very quiet with the windows closed. The hotel was clean. You can get free water refills from the front desk. The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite the train station and the free tram stop for airport terminals T1 and T2. Breakfast was included and quite substantial, with vegetables that were delicious with a bit of vinaigrette and olive oil from the side. The only minor thing was that we had to ask housekeeping specifically to change the bath towels. For a 3-star budget hotel, it offers incredible value for money!

This hotel is conveniently located with excellent facilities, close to the airport, train station, and tram stop. It's clean and affordable, making it a great choice for solo travelers. The front desk staff are also very friendly.

Excellent value for money during the off-season. 1. Superb location!! Airport transport and tram: Take the L1 from the airport one stop to Grand Arenas, which is free, then it's a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Alternatively, you can walk directly from the airport in just 10 minutes. TER: With the Nice 3-day pass, Saint Augustin station is right across the street. If you're heading towards Menton, you can board one stop before the busy Nice train station, and there's no need to wait. BUS: If you're exploring the Nice coastline and don't want to walk too far to catch the tram, bus route 12+ (and others) are available near the coast, providing direct access to T1, also within a 5-minute walk. 2. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM. Very quiet, no airplane noise.

Overall, it's pretty good. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's super close to the airport. The value for money is decent too. The staff at the front desk were always there and had a great attitude. Free breakfast is offered every morning, but I felt the variety was a bit limited. Hope they can add more options.

I always request a room not at the end of a hallway when booking on Ctrip, but they gave me one anyway. It had a tiny window that couldn't even open, facing directly onto a busy main road. The soundproofing was terrible too; luckily, I only stayed one night. I'm so disappointed that the Holiday Inn Express in Nice was just as bad. From now on, I'm never booking another Holiday Inn Express, no matter where I go. The only bright spot was the guy at the front desk – he was incredibly handsome, like a Roman statue. But then he assigned me to an uncomfortable corner room where I couldn't even open a window for ventilation.

The hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from Terminal 1 of the airport, which is very convenient for catching flights. There's also a train station right across from the hotel, making it easy to get to Cannes or Monaco.
