Hotel is erg goed gelegen op het einde van de hippe winkelstraat waar ook ook veel restaurants gelegen zijn, dichtbij Grote Markt, Waal kade, Kronenburger park. Onze kamer was blijkbaar in renovatie want er hing een indringende verfgeur en verf sporen op de badkamer vloer die nog niet verwijderd waren. TV moeten verbinden en opnieuw moeten installeren.
Voor sommigen misschien details maar zou in orde moeten zijn.

Op de foto’s lijkt het allemaal wel wat maar in werkelijkheid valt het erg tegen: de entree van het hotel is wel mooi en de kamer zelf ook maar dat is het dan ook zo’n beetje want er is minimaal comfort in de faciliteiten en het was er koud en stoffig. Bovendien roken de handdoeken niet fris en ontbrak er een afstandsbediening om de heater aan te zetten. Alles was mega basaal; zelfs geen kast om je kleren in op te bergen en ook de zeep was minimaal. Het personeel was wel erg aardig en begreep onze klachten. Dit hotel is echt veel te prijzig voor de kwaliteit die het niet kan waarmaken. Wat ons betreft is het een twee sterrenhotel, echt meer dan dat is het niet.

Lovely building in one of the oldest streets in the city. Although check in was 'different' it worked really well and the gentleman who booked us in was very friendly. The public car park is a short walk away by the railway and you need to pay by cards. None of my UK Mastercard or Visa cards would work with the machines but my wife's Barclaycard did; no idea why but something to be aware of. You can get a ticket for the duration of your stay so no need to go back every 24 hours. There is no restaurant at the hotel but that is not a problem as there are dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants in the area, in fact we were spoiled for choice. The room was huge, as was the en suite and the bed was very comfy. The fridge was a bit noisy as was the air con but not enough to disturb our sleep although the local beers may have helped! Thoroughly recommended and will certainly be going back.

Hygiene is structureel probleem. Badkamer putje verstopt met dagen oud vuil. Douche van vrienden: aanslag bij putje van dagen oud. Vloerbedekking vol lange haren en kruimels, beide kamers. Ook niet van 1 dag. Nachtkastje vol kruimels. Op kamer vrienden: nagels

This hotel was a major letdown for me. Considering the price, I had at least expected a clean room. Although it had a nice-looking, old-fashioned style, my room was unfortunately filthy. To be honest, it was truly disgusting. I discovered a dozen human hairs on the bed sheets, the bathroom was stained from the previous guest, and the toilet had traces of feces(!!). Adding to my disappointment, the reception was closed when I arrived around 9:30 pm, so I had to call a phone number to gain entry (they only answered after my second call). I found my key card at the front desk, with nobody available to address my concerns about the dirty room. It felt like I had no choice but to reluctantly accept it and sleep in already-used bed sheets. Absolutely revolting! I will never stay here again!

Bed was soft but comfortable as were the pillows. We were handed the key cards by a man sitting outside the hotel who then disappeared no staff in evidence till following morning. Safe in room was locked. Right in the pedestrian centre so unable to drive to the hotel. Parking in public car park 5 mins walk away. Charges only from 9am to 9pm. We arrived 7pm and overnight cast 10cents. Fine for an overnight stay. Despite being central the rooms were quiet.

"Hotel" without reception, no breakfast place you have to go outside, no place to safely store lugage for early or late arrival. At arrival you have to wait outside and call to get in, realy nice when it rains. Also skme issues with room cleaning.

De locatie is perfect maar de kamer was niet schoon. Stofwolken op de grond, stof op nachtkastjes en servies. Kussensloop was niet schoon. Ook de kamer van vrienden was niet schoon. Jammer want de kamer zelf was prima. Een kapstok voor de (winter)jassen zou overigens ook wel handig zijn geweest.
