Kinugawa Grand Hotel Yume No Toki

The Kinugawa Yume no Ki Grand Hotel offered an outstanding overall experience. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted by meticulous and attentive service. The staff were friendly and professional, and communication was seamless. The guest rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a warm Japanese-style ambiance that created a relaxing resort atmosphere. The environment was also kept impeccably clean. The onsen facilities were comprehensive, with both indoor and outdoor baths offering unique features. The tranquil bathing space was perfect for relaxation. Dinner and breakfast were of high quality, with exquisite and delicious kaiseki cuisine in generous portions. The dining atmosphere was wonderful, and I highly recommend it for couples or families. I would definitely return if I have the chance.

Environment: It's about a 10-minute walk from Kinugawa Station. There's a small hill where pushing luggage can be a bit difficult; you can contact the hotel for a shuttle service. Unlike most Kinugawa onsen ryokans, it's not located right on the river, which is a bit of a shame. Cleanliness: Excellent. Facilities: First, the large public baths have alternating men's and women's baths, each with its own unique features. There are sleeping baths, cream baths, and saunas. The overall design is very reasonable and simple. The rooms are large, easily accommodating at least four people, and include both Western-style beds and Japanese-style tatami mats. The rooms are large and quite new, without the usual musty smell of older hotels. The window view is just average, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Dining: We had two meals during our stay. Dinner and breakfast were both deluxe kaiseki cuisine, which was delicious and photogenic—five-star quality. It ranks among the top three kaiseki meals we've had at onsen. Service: Excellent. The Vietnamese lady who greeted us spoke Mandarin, and the restaurant manager, a lady from Guangdong, explained the dishes in great detail. Overall, the service was excellent.

The best hotel in Kinugawa town! The garden outside the lobby is full of Zen-like tranquility and atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and Japanese-style, with options for sleeping on tatami mats or in a separate bedroom. The toiletries in the shower are from POLA and are particularly good; they leave hair incredibly smooth after washing. However, the number of towels provided is too small. The room has a large floor-to-ceiling window offering a beautiful view of the morning scenery, a truly idyllic landscape. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are exceptional; the freshly cooked rice served to each person was the best I had during my entire trip to Japan—unforgettable. It would be perfect if the room had a private onsen (hot spring bath), but since it's a shared bath, I didn't get to experience it.

There was a lot of service from arrival to the introduction, and it was very comfortable. The food was especially delicious. The free lounge was also great. The air conditioning was cold overall.

Everything was good, the room, the delicious meals...it's true that the receptionists don't speak English but we were taken and dropped off at the station very kindly!!!
