Mount n Mist

Location was outside of ooty. But the view from the hotel was awesome. Food can be improved. On first day of stay faced hot water problem

Room was good but restaurant don't serve any special dish. Breakfast only contain idli, bada and dosa that too in very limited quantity. You may or may not get proper breakfast. Room don't have room number plate which create a lot of confusion in guest. Please also do-not expect intercom to be attended.

Stay was good, very friendly staff. Room price wise bit expensive. Location is good. Food is decent and room service available. Do ask for the ***ager for pass to return back to hotel from ooty, else it might be a problem.

Midst of a calm area, mount n mist is a great option to stay in ooty. Customer service is highly appreciable.

Overall stay was good. Beautiful view, good food and great hospitality. The property is around 10 km away from ooty city. The hotel will issue a pass, the road is one way. While travel-ling back to the hotel from ooty city, you need to show the pass at the police outpost.

The hospitality of the resort was very good and people are very friendly. Location also good for stay for the climate and view outside resorts are good. Need to improve for camp fire and other few amenities

Stained sheets, unsmiling faces, faulty t. V, miserliness for toiletries - you name it, you have it! but what took the cake was the cab service recommended by them. Took us to mudumalai town on a 'jeep safari' and said that's mudumalai forest for you! adding insult to injury, the driver was downright rude, so was the owner. Made unsavory remarks such as you can't loaf around until 12 in the night. There's nothing worthy to see in dodabetta, avalanche, kodanad viewpoint. The worst part of the story is that we were 2 ladies on our maiden holiday trip. An entire evening was ruined and we were left with a bitter taste at the end of it all. The owner and the driver made me listen to nonsense about how we don't have a conscience. The bitter irony is that we were the ones who were cheated and taken for a royal ride. The place we stayed in could have made amends with regard to all these issues. Sadly, the service industry has much wanting. Very very very unfortunate indeed!

The property is great and well maintained. The food quality is very good. Only timing of break fast can improve. They serve breakfast only by 8. 30 am while they say its 8 am. For a tourist location it should be earlier and punctual.
