Hotel Indigo NINGBO RIVERSIDE by IHG

The only minor issue was the lack of a desk in the room, but everything else was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs. The hotel's location is perfect, very close to the Old Bund, and you can easily get there by taxi or even walk. Plus, you can enjoy lovely strolls along the riverside.

First of all, a big thank you to the lovely front desk lady for the complimentary upgrade to a river view room and the fruit plate. The hotel has a light luxury style with deep colors, which isn't entirely my preference, but the design is very impressive, so that's a plus. The breakfast selection isn't vast, but everything is exquisite. The room amenities are appropriate, and it's very clean. As someone with rhinitis, I'm quite sensitive to smells, and I could still detect a slight hint of renovation odor. The soundproofing in the room is average; I could hear some noise and sounds from the pipes at night. Overall, it was still a good stay.

The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient and hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was comfortable and pleasant. An immersive and comfortable experience! The service details were impeccable, with welcome fruits and drink vouchers thoughtfully provided. They even surprised me with a small cake on my birthday. The blackout curtains are excellent at blocking out light and sound, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Every corner of the river-view room is Instagram-worthy.
