I am very disappointed at the lack of communication and not replying to my numerous emails. I booked the room in March for an overnight stay as location was good for our journey to the south of France. The room was paid for however when checking out I was charged again, I queried it with the man on reception and with his poor English he said I needed to pay, which I did. But on checking my Revolut account has been charged twice. I have emailed several times and had no reply but they’re happy to keep my money! Very unhappy 🙁

Halfway on our regular journey from north to south of France, this has become our go-to for one reason - the beds. It's a budget hotel which punches way above its weight in a number of ways but first and last, the beds are super-comfortable, with excellent linen and fluffy duvets, and on a long journey that's what you want. The breakfast is good, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff super-kind and helpful. I accidentally left behind my gold watch(?!?!) - it was waiting for me on our return north a few days later. Can' thank the staff enough for that! The hotel is handy for the centre of Niort which has an abundance of restaurants, all good, and the town itself is charming. We'll be staying at the Ibis Niort Marais Poitevin again in the spring - where else would we go! Big thanks to all the staff.

Establishment well located and quiet... but out of breath. Musty smell everywhere. Worn and stained carpets in the corridors and rooms (but stained by what??), cramped rooms, bistro area, timeless. And above all... a poor breakfast buffet considering its price: €11!!! Really not reasonable. However, despite all these weirdos, the prices are usual... Why deprive yourself?

Une précision : cet hôtel-restaurant faisait partie d'IBIS jusqu'au 30 septembre 2024 et a été repris par B&b à partir du 1er octobre. Nous y étions le 30 septembre au soir et avons été très mécontents. Pas de chauffage, nous avons été obligé de demander un radiateur, au niveau de la salle de bain, il a fallu faire couler 5 mn pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Et je ne parle pas de la restauration minable : pas de cuisinier ! les plats arrivent tout prêts et sont réchauffés ! Le personnel présent et insuffisant n'est pas en cause et a été sympathique. Ce soir-là ils étaient 2 pour assurer la réception et le restaurant et ont fait leur possible. J'ose espérer que la situation s'améliorera avec la nouvelle direction.

Cet hotel est indigne du classement 3 etoiles et tred eloigné des standards du groupe Accor. A fuir absolument +++ À notre arrivée, nous avons immédiatement constaté plusieurs problèmes graves qui ont rendu notre séjour très désagréable : 1. État de la chambre et de la salle de bains : • Moisissures visibles au plafond de la salle de bains et rideau de douche en très mauvais état, pourri. • Moquette extrêmement sale et poussiéreuse, ménage visiblement non fait avec présence de poussières en grande quantité et morceaux de plastique sous la table de nuit. • Salle de bains et toilettes dans un état inacceptable : toilettes entartrées, joints noirs, salle de bains très étroite et mal entretenue. • Absence de brosse WC, absence de mouchoirs dans la chambre. 2. Problèmes liés au confort : • Chambre très étroite, ne correspondant pas à nos attentes et aux standards d’un 3 etoiles. • Une seule serviette par occupant, rêche et de petite taille, ce qui est insuffisant et inconfortable. • Mitigeur de la douche dysfonctionnel, l’eau étant soit brûlante, soit froide, sans possibilité de régler correctement la température. • Aucune prise de recharge pour téléphone à proximité du lit, ce qui est très inconfortable. 3. Service décevant : • Aucun accueil chaleureux, et aucune boisson de bienvenue proposée. J’ai dû la réclamer et n’ai reçu qu’une seule bouteille de 50cl pour trois occupants. • Le personnel d’accueil a fait preuve d’un comportement désagréable, ce qui a encore davantage terni notre expérience. De plus, je trouve inacceptable de devoir payer deux suppléments chiens de 10€ chacun, alors que l’état de propreté de votre hôtel est largement en deçà des standards attendus. Nos chiennes étaient sans doute plus propres que le sol de la chambre.

Très bon accueil hôtel confortable certe la sdb quelques traces du temps mais très propre lit 160 climatisation dans la chambre grande tv murale. Petit déjeuner très copieux sucré salé à volonté. Nous étions perplexe aux vues des commentaires négatifs mais ravis de notre séjour
