Dougashima Hotel Tenyu

I booked a standard Japanese room. The moment you open the door of the room, the beautiful sea spreads all over! The food was very good and the service was consistently good!

The hotel had a spectacular view of the islands of Dogashima, and the hospitality of the hotel staff was excellent. The dinner was a course meal, and I was very satisfied with the meat, abalone, and lobster. It was a good memory.

I chose it from ANA Web and used it with my daughter and her husband. The size of the hotel is just right, the rooms and baths are right in front of the sea, and the view of the sun set from the open-air bath is especially spectacular. The dishes ranged from seafood courses such as the famous Kinme, spiny lobster, abalone sashimi, and Odori-yaki, but they were all wonderful, with an emphasis on quality over quantity. All of the Japanese male and female staff members were young and dressed neatly in suits, and they responded cheerfully and comfortably. The location is excellent, so you can definitely enjoy Dogashima to the fullest.

Since I was temporarily returning from overseas, I wanted to have a bit of luxury, so I did a lot of research and decided to come here. The moment you arrive at the hotel, the moment you are guided to your room, and the moment you step into the open-air bath, you will be amazed at the spectacular view of Sanshiro Island and the Nishi-Izu sea in front of you at least three times! Are there any more pictures than this? I thought. The hotel had few rooms, and the staff were very polite and made us feel at home. Dinner was also a truly luxurious menu that allowed us to fully enjoy the flavors of Izu, and we were able to spend a luxurious time while watching the sunset over Nishi-Izu. This time, the room was recently renovated, so it was extremely comfortable. The next morning, I could see the progress of the tombolo phenomenon right in front of my eyes, so I think the timing was good. It may not be a hotel with luxurious facilities, but it is a homey, comfortable hotel with good service, and we thoroughly enjoyed our family trip in Japan.

There was a signboard for the spectacular view of Yado Tenyu, but the signboard was not deceiving. This hotel probably has the best view from the room overlooking Sanshiro Island. The scenery on the side that doesn't see Sanshiro Island is also very nice. It's in a great location, so that alone is great. In addition, I think the food was very delicate and good. As for the service, the young people were very diligent and gave me a good impression. The view from the open-air bath was nice, but I thought there was room for improvement since you couldn't see the view once you were soaking in the hot water. Also, I wanted a box in the bathroom where I could put my room key. Still, the hotel's spectacular view is worth a visit.
