I stayed here for three days, and the transportation is convenient near the hotel. The hotel is opposite Ryde Quay and is very easy to find. Moreover, the bus stop is diagonally opposite the hotel, and the transportation is convenient. The hotel's breakfast is great, but the staff who clean the room are very unhygienic. They put the cups used by the first-hand guests on the table for the second-hand guests.

We used the hotel for sleeping while visiting for the Isle of Wight festival. It’s got everything you need for a nights stay.even though the room was on the small side. The shower was large and had good pressure. Breakfast has the usual stuff and you can order off menu with no problem and all the serving staff are lovely. Reception staff,day and night were very good and always had a smile. Lastly the hotel is very handy for the festival buses as you get on them just over the road.

Excellent location in Ryde right opposite the hoverport. We had a seafront room affording great views of the Solent and passing sea traffic. The staff were amazingly friendly, especially Terry and Daria who welcomed us back, making us feel special. Breakfast was excellent. We didn't eat in the hotel for the evening, but visitors seemed very happy

The hotel is perfectly situated opposite the pier and near shops, restaurants and the beach. The staff were all loverly and very helpful. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was massive. Only negatives was that there was loads of dust over the furniture, like thick layers and the food was terrible. We only had breakfast there but had to wait over half an hour for tinned mushrooms, single rasher of burnt bacon, couple of teaspoons of beans and bland scrambled egg (which was actually cooked well). The milk in the coffee was also bad quality and the coffee didn't taste good.

Lovely hotel and receptionist (Kelly?) but totally geared up for coach trips. The coach visitors get priority over other visitors ie poor service in restaurant , couples served last while coach visitors seemed to get excellent service. We were not told on booking that this hotel entertained such a large number of coach people. Very disappointed.

The hotel is in an ideal position on the seafront at Ryde. The excellent transport links outside the hotel include bus station, train station, hovercraft and ferry. The accommodation, food and hotel staff are first class. Highly recommended.

From the booking experience, a 3 night stay with half board and ferry crossing, to the daily interaction with the staff, they were everything that one would expect in the hospitality industry, they were cheerful, friendly, attentive and helpful. We stayed in a premier twin room with comfortable beds and the usual tea and coffee making facilities (together with biscuits), it was clean and serviced well every day. The choices on the menu were good and dishes well presented. Surprisingly for a hotel with such a heritage and prime location in Ryde, our room was tired and certain facilities in the room required some very basic and simple attention.
