Iberostar Herceg Novi - All Inclusive

It is an all inclusive hotel and they are not mean. The quality of food and drinks are better than expected. Worth the stay.

I’m coming back again this year! Because this hotel has exceeded all expectations. From arrival to departure everything has been perfect. The weather was slightly warmer than usual, the hotel reception Bodjar was charming & helpful. The spa girls gave amazing treatments. The pool bar & beach bar staff were so friendly and polite. Kids club was super interactive along with adult games for us! Everyone is so friendly and polite. The water taxi to take you from the hotel to heroic Novi is adorable and a great service the guys do a great job! The restaurant chefs make beautiful food! I do not have one complaint and there is something for everyone. They really cater to everything. Eden the restaurant waiter was really friendly and there is never a plate left empty at your table they just come and clear it right away! Excellent accommodation! We stayed here at the start of April for our honeymoon and booked through Jet2! We had a sea view room with an outstanding view. Something to consider, it was slightly noisy as we overlooked the pool area and there was entertainment at night. This didn't bother us but I imagine could be a problem for some. The accommodation was very clean and staff were very friendly. Food was outstanding and we mostly ate at the hotel restaurant apart from the days we went on excursions. Not loads to do near the hotel but easy to travel around - we booked to go to Dubrovnik and various other excursions. Would love to return to Monte*****! People are very friendly.

First the good stuff! The staff are lovely, friendly & helpful. The Iberostar app was great - you can message reception & get a reply almost immediately. We ordered a kettle on the app & it arrived quickly - very efficient! The Wi-Fi is amazing - all across the hotel. Rooms are lovely & there’s a water dispenser on each level & a decanter in your room - great idea! As many people have said the hotel isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility issues - lots of steps to negotiate. The only things we weren’t 100 percent happy with were the ready mixed cocktails & the very repetitive food choices. They did start to improve with some themed nights so perhaps it gets better as the season goes on. But all in all a great hotel with stunning views & lovely staff.

Great hotel. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff are excellent, food very good great choice at every meal. The hotel is spotless, everything is so neat and tidy from the reception area, bedrooms, dining area, pool area, the gardens are very well kept gardeners working everyday. Great value for money. Managers walking the hotel each day checking with guests that everything is ok. The whole site is very well maintained. Fantastic service.

Gordonia, Valentina and Bobana were absolutely brilliant during our stay. They went out of their way to accommodate us, keep us entertained and organise boat excursions for us. The views from the hotel are unbelievable. Beautiful resort!!

1. Not suitable for people with disabilities as hotel set on steep hillside and access is by stone steps which become very slippery when wet and one of our party took a nasty tumble whilst making his way to restaurant, cutting and bruising his knee. Restaurant staff did offer plasters. 2. Food in restaurant very repetitive and luke warm at best, this is not helped by the fact that all plates are stone cold, which raises health concerns straight away. At first sight the Buffet looks very good, but sadly the quality foes not match this at all. Food description labels are very poor and a real concern if you have Food allergies. 3. Standard of beverages both soft or alcoholic is extremely poor with very little on offer unless you wish to pay extra for premium spirits which would then be mixed with poor quality draft mixers so hardly worth it. Wine also of poor quality and on draft, this will also give you a dreadful headache after just a couple of glasses which leads one to beleave this is full of additional additives/chemicals. Overall impression of Food and drink is not a good one. 4. Rooms are comfortable if basic, but we'll maintained in general by housekeeping team. 5. Staff overall are pleasant with some far nicer than others. The Bar and restaurant staff are certainly not over engaging, however the entertainment and the lady who offers information for boat trips, taxis and excursions is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Huge thanks to her. 6. In summary we would not stay here again due to isolated location, general accessibility concerns and poor quality of food and drink. This Hotel should be listed as 3 Star and definitely not 4 Star.

We just had the most amazing family holiday at Iberostar in Monte*****. The hotel was clean, and the rooms are attended to everyday. The food consisted of a decent variety, with as much fresh fish and meat cooked for you to your liking. And as for the hotel staff, they really make the experience A class! Everyone and I mean everyone from the house keeper, receptionists, to the bar staff, restaurant workers and the animation team. We were consistently greeted with a smile and a warm welcome by everyone, and they were absolutely amazing with my two little ones. My daughter was old enough to join in with some activities at the Kids Club and she enjoyed those. As a family we joined Valentina on a scenic walk to a beautiful iew spot and I also did some activities solo. There's always something going on. We also enjoyed a couple of days by the pool and on the private hotel beach. The water is gentle and easy enough to enter. I felt at ease letting my two play and dip their toes in the sea. The views are stunning. Day trips out can easily be arranged as there's always someone there (Bobita was great) to sort. The hotel is definitely tricky for people not able to climb stairs, other than that I highly recommend this for a family destination in the sun! Thank you to all the workers there, you're really doing a great job for your guests. Special thanks to: entertaining and brilliant work with the kids: Valentina, Kate and Bobita. In the restaurant Aldo, Tijana, Mirko, Vuk and Semir and on reception Vanja who was always available to help and helped a lot. Not forgetting my favourite bar server, Ruslan, who made me the best cocktails!

The restaurant is filthy. The placemats are stained and ingrained. The black table pedestals are disgusting, covered in old food debris. The windows are filthy on the inside. The upholstered benches stained. The coffee cheap and nasty. The yoghurt watered down. Lovely to be greeted with a welcome drink at dinner time but I would sooner you concentrated on basic hygiene standards.
