Tudo perfeito, atendimento (colaboradores atenciosos e.prestativos), limpeza, localização, a parte da alimentação com excelência ( saboroso, apresentação impecável) . Quarto confortável, com vista para o rio. Superou nossas expectativas. Recomendamos !!!

The most amazing experience. We saw 4 out of 5 from the big 5 and saw hippo’s/ elephants in the river from our balcony. Our guide Elliot did everything he could to let us see every animal and knew so much about it. He was amazing! I hope the company knows how good he is. He made our experience so much better. We really loved everything about mjejane river lodge. Thank you all so much!

The staff are so eager to give the guests a great experience but the Lodge falls short in so many ways. The rooms need alot of work, old furnishings, torn mosquito nets, black tiles not cleaned properly one can smell the shower drain, the buffet is so limited and lacks creativity/freshness. As a vegan I had nothing to eat. Breakfast is the same thing everyday. The juices are diluted concentrates. I was so disappointed as this lodge promised a 5 star experience and the cost is up there. The gardens are not maintained. The chairs in the pool have rusted legs posing toxicity to children swimming.

Very beautiful and authentic African lodge. Very friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Our ranger Eliot focused on finding and explaining both the large and small animals. He has extensive knowledge of the animal world and conveys this with enthusiasm. You are not allowed to drive off the paths. The location right on the beautiful riverbed allows for exciting sightings, such as hippos, giraffes or elephants. A maximum of 25 guests are possible in this lodge, which makes everything so incredibly personal. The lodge has very good value for money.

We had the room directly above the terrace. It offered us a sensational view of the Crocodile River with daily animal visits. The room was grand and had fantastic facilities. The safaris start directly from the hotel and are led by a very knowledgeable team. Lunch and dinner were good, and the breakfast was plentiful. Attentive and always friendly staff. We will be back.

Location right on the river: priceless Herd of elephants right in front of our terrace: unforgettable The luxury room was beautiful at first glance...but unfortunately sobering at second glance. Mold deposits on the sink, completely loose fittings, extremely dusty bed canopy, cushions on the terrace very dirty and umbrella unusable, couldn't be opened due to its position (railing in the way) - couldn't be moved due to the "concrete chunks" that hold the frame, and it was also torn in various places The staff were unfortunately (apart from our chambermaid) sometimes very unfriendly and generally unmotivated. At check-in we were asked to move the car 20m (!) so that the porters didn't have to walk so far. We were asked to fill out 2 forms, meal times and times for game drives were announced, no overview of the amenities of the accommodation, etc. They were more stressed than welcoming us, a guest-oriented reception can't be done in a guest-oriented way. The bottle of white wine was served warm in the evening. When we asked if we could have a cold one, we were offered ice cubes, as they didn't have any chilled white wine. The game drives were unfortunately very hectic in retrospect (after comparing). Sometimes we were taken at high speed to spots where the animals seemed to be staying (arranged via walkie-talkie). It was somehow like a hunt at times. The duration was max. (!) 2.5 hours Overall, the price-performance ratio was miserable

We stayed a family of five. There are great things to say about the lodge: 1) we had our own game drives 2) good service 3) good food 4) great view of the river (we saw hippos, kudu and elephants from the dining area) 5) we saw a great many animals (only leopard from the big five we didn’t see) On improvement points, I’d say the rooms feel a bit dark and worn. This could easily be improved though. Price is ok vs. in Kruger alternatives. But still a lot to pay when the rooms are a bit worn. All in all, we were happy to come here and have all from food to game drives in one place 😊.

Highly recommend Mjejane, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, it's very clean, and Gilmon in particular made the game drives so much fun each time. We would go back there anytime!

Best Safari Guide to date... Although my review comes somewhat belatedly, the impact of Mthunzi's expertise and dedication remains vivid in my memory. My safari experience under his guidance was nothing short of extraordinary. Mthunzi's unparalleled knowledge of the wildlife, particularly his mastery of bird identification, set him apart as a truly exceptional guide. Mthunzi's passion for the natural world was contagious, and his ability to share insights about the diverse bird species and wildlife in the Kruger Park was truly impressive. His enthusiasm not only enhanced the overall safari experience but also deepened my understanding and appreciation of the rich biodiversity within the park. Mthunzi has unique luck or knowledge to get viewings of wildlife within Kruger with no one around to disturb your sighting. Furthermore, Mthunzi's professionalism and his ability to command the respect of his peers and other Kruger Park staff were evident throughout our week. His rapport with fellow rangers showcased not only his proficiency in the field but also his commi**ent to maintaining a harmonious and collaborative environment. It is a rare find to encounter someone with such superior bird knowledge, and Mthunzi's expertise has set a benchmark that will be hard to surpass. I genuinely believe that his passion for wildlife and his outstanding guiding skills make him an invaluable asset to your holiday. Looking ahead, I am already planning my return to Mjejane/Kruger Park, and I am determined to request Mthunzi as my private guide once again (if he is not too popular with requests. His unique ability to bring the wonders of the wilderness to life is an experience I am eager to repeat. Please find this contact details below and make sure you confirm him as your guide before its too late... +27 (72) 568-7393 All the best Mthunzi, Jamie and the rest of us
