Bis auf immer gleiches Frühstücksbufett kann man das Hotel für Ausflüge z.B. an die Amalfiküste empfehlen. Es liegt recht einsam in einem Bergdorf, in der unmittelbaren Nähe ist keine Auswahl an Restaurants vorhanden. Im Hotel selbst wurde das Restaurant ohne Halbpension nur am Wochenende geöffnet.

Ci sono stato a ottobre con tanti amici, questo è un luogo splendido, tenuto bene, pulito, situato in edificio storico, con una vista mozzafiato sulla vallata. Il personale è di alto livello, siamo vicini ad un 5 stelle, abbiamo soggiornato in diverse camere tutte arredate in stile classico impreziosite dalle famose ceramiche della costiera amalfitana. Non contenti abbiamo anche provato l'ottimo ristorante per il pranzo, è stato tutto squisito, complimenti allo chef, non a caso in questa struttura si organizzano anche eventi tipo matrimoni e simili. La piscina è davvero comoda nonostante la vicinanza al mare, è stato bello rilassarsi a bordo piscina sorseggiando un ottimo cocktail, mentre il giorno seguente dopo la colazione abbondante ci siamo recati in spiaggia a Cetara. Non vedo l'ora di tornare in questo adorabile Hotel, complimenti a tutto lo staff.

The hotel was simply wonderful. Set in the beautiful mountains in a small village close the Amalfi Coast, the hotel was peaceful and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed in a family apartment that was perfect for a couple with a baby and teenager. The staff were very courteous, helpful and professional and we had a private garden to sit and relax after a days traveling along the coast and on other excursions. Pompeii and Vesuvius are very close by car. The views from the hotel were stunning and a short walk away is a beautiful trek in the mountains or down to the coast ( 3 hour walk but wonderful). The parking was close by and guarded. We would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thanks to all at the hotel for making our first family holiday so memorable.

Vendono su Booking due suites completamente diverse allo stesso prezzo senza specificare le caratteristiche. Una ha due balconi (ovviamente più grande) con idromassaggio interno ed uno esterno, l’altra piccola e con solo idromassaggio esterno (che a detta loro accendono solo con il bel tempo). Noi pensavamo di avere riservato una suite con doppio idromassaggio ed invece al check-in abbiamo scoperto che avevamo la piccola. La signora algida/zeroempatia, ha giustificato la truffa attribuendo la colpa al sistema, diciamo “a fortuna”. Volevamo andare via, ma il rimborso doveva essere richiesto a Booking, di cui appunto la colpa! Abbiamo deciso di rimanere ed ovviamente abbiamo chiesto lo sconto, visto l’evidente problema, ma è stato negato anche quello! La camera grande era stata data la stessa mattina a clienti che avevano prenotato sul posto. Quindi ovviamente i clienti di Booking sono per loro clienti di seconda mano, che per quanto ci riguarda, non vedranno mai più! Il resto della vacanza ha lasciato molto a desiderare, ne’ la camera (che è anche vecchia e decadente: impianti da rifare!) ne’ i servizi valgono quanto pagato! Non hanno avuto il minimo riguardo ne’ attenzione ad una cosa davvero grave che in 15 anni di prenotazioni su Booking non era mai capitata! Sono stati truffaldini e zero professionali.

Mooi hotel, propere kamer, heerlijk ontbijt. Het hotel heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Personeel bijzonder vriendelijk en gedienstig. Enig klein nadeel: matras was vrij hard. Goede uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de streek met auto.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of the mountains close to the Amalfi coastal area. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't feel the need to leave the hotel. The hotel has a small spa area and we were able to book treatments for the same afternoon after our arrival. The pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds and other seating , and also a small bar. The restaurant (Locanda 1821) serves a fabulous breakfast, and lunch and evening meals were a fine dining experience based upon seasonal, local specialities. If you don't have the use of a car, a taxi is probably advisable to get you to the hotel itself. This would be especially wise for anyone with mobility issues. If you do have a car and it is of a moderate to large size it will be easier to park in the larger carpark on the lower level.
