Eco Valley Lodge

Nong Nam Daeng|2.08km from city centre
If you're looking for a place to stay near Khao Yai, go no further, this is the place. I stayed in Eco Valley Lodge for two nights with a group of 15 people, and every single one of them agreed that this was the best accomodation during the whole two-week trip. The place is a 10 minute drive from Pak Chong, which is really nice if you want to have a quiet nice evening in a oasis-like place away from all the noise from the town and the highway. They do have all the services right there, so after a nice hike in Khao Yai, you don't even need to go to the town for a massage or dinner. The bungalows are clean and nice, the common area (or the inner yard, if you will) is green and beautiful and the pool can be used all night through (which is unusual for Thailand), as long as you don't disturb other guests. The restaurant has a wide array of choices, including proper authentic thai food, as well as real western food. And the dairy! They do have the best yoghurt in Thailand for breakfast! Even though everything about this place was great, I'd like to highlight the manager and staff - everyone was super helpful with all my requests, they would go out of their way just to help me, even if I came up with something like organizing transportation to visit Pak Chong's night bazaar RIGHT NOW FOR 15 PEOPLE. I have to mention James, the manager. The nicest guy you can imagine. Very knowledgable and willing to have a chat, and gives special atention to every single guest. Also, because he's in Thailand for years, he knows it inside and out, and can give you the best advice on any subject regarding Thailand. I've been in Thailand more than ten times and I've stayed in a lot of different places, usually it's a thai manager who doesn't really understand what you need or an expat who just doesn't care that much anymore. James is not any of these, a true gem!

Lilawalai Resort
4.5/56 Reviews
We stayed at Liliwalai Resort for a few nights as part of an organized birding holiday. Although the grounds are beautiful and well kept my honest rating would be 3.5 for the room itself. It was in a row of rooms and was quite average in size and amenities. Although without much of a view to anything it served our basic needs. It appears the wooden Thai houses located farther from the restaurant would be a better room choice than the attached rows of rooms. The restaurant meals were generally well prepared however staff were at times a bit confused/slow to serve us. The WiFi was some of the fastest we experienced in our travels throughout the country. There is a pool but we didn't make use of it. Overall, a nice resort.

The rooms are clean. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a modern style. The accommodations are quiet. The view may not be beautiful but the rooms are good. Accommodation includes breakfast Variety of breakfast to choose from, good taste, good service staff. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the room for you to see🥹

My second stay in a resort in Thailand and it was with good feeling. Have a room that can host 10 pax. Room was spacious: with living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, balcony or sundeck where one can also do BBQ. Room has 2 large beds and 6 futons. They even have daily housekeeping which I was not expecting. Has a swimming pool, mini lake where one can row boat and/or feed fish and also a grass slides. Kids have most fun with the slide. Only downside is I am not sure how one can there (and out) without a private driver. I guess it has to be in a remote area in order to be surrounding by green lustful scenery. It was a good feeling to wake up to fresh air.

Poolside room It is a family suite. Next to a large swimming pool You can enter the pool from the balcony of the room. The room is spacious with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, a large living room in the middle for a large party, very comfortable, have a chance to come back to stay here again.
Nornchill Khaoyai

Visit Khaoyai for a short trip. The hotel is situated not too far from Mittraphap Road (highway no.2), near Makro Food Service mall, Lotus Pak Chong, and Premium Outlet. It is a calm, quite place, and convenient for Khaoyai National Park trip. Room was nice and toilet/shower were good. Breakfast (Milk Land) was not much variety, but good teste. A lot of parking space provided behind hotel buildings. Khaotom (Boilrice) Km.9 local restaurant for dinner is 6.5 km away from the hotel.
