Second time booking at montigo. For the second time we got a beautiful view from our villa. My wife and i loved every minute of it and would like to comeback with our families.

**Cleanliness:** The interior is impeccably maintained, though the exterior shows some wear due to the inevitable corrosion from the sea. The pool tiles for the 3 BR design makes it looks like it is dirty, but it should be clean
**Location:** Situated away from the bustling city, this resort offers tranquility and solitude. Travel to the city takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your destination.
**Service:**
- **Staff:** Exceptionally friendly and helpful, consistently striving to provide excellent service.
- **Buggy Service:** The service can be slow, particularly on weekends. Plan for an extra 20-30 minutes to travel from your room to the lobby.
**Amenities:** The resort offers a variety of activities to enjoy on-site.
**Price/Rates:** The rates are on the higher side, comparable to Bintan or Bali. Lower rates would make it more attractive for an extended stay.
**Return to Stay:** I would consider exploring other resorts before returning.

All the staff across all the restaurants we visited were very friendly and helpful. They were very observant and checked in on us regularly if we enjoyed the food. We loved the Japanese restaurant, Hinotori, the staff were very kind and helpful + we loved the Chawanmushi!
The breakfast spread had a large variety of food, including Western and Asian dishes. We would especially like to thank the staff at Tadd's as they were very observant and helped our family kindly.
The service across the resort was great, the buggy service was very convenient, the receptionist answered us almost instantly every time and the buggy was always on time! The wifi was very strong across the resort. The staff members that checked us in and out were very nice.
The room was very clean, the lights were bright, the view was spectacular. We really enjoyed the private pool.
Overall, this was very different from our usual shopping trips overseas and it was very relaxing. We would love to be back soon.

Good short stay at Montigo resort! Nothing too fancy comparing with 5-stars resorts in Bali/Phuket as it’s too quiet with limited visitors. Most of the establishments (e.g. bar, beach club, kids club) were empty with no tourist. Good if you like to have quiet time. Feel odd for us as we were on vacation and expecting vacation vibes. Everything is okay other than that

The views were great. General cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. Service was mixed, we met staff at the new Hinotori japanese restaurant who were very attentive, but the check in process was unclear (e.g., staff at check in counter did not acknowledge and welcome guest for the check in).

Happy wif the birthday surprise given by the staff. Great service, big villa n nice sea view. All staff are attentive n friendly. seafood restaurant food is very tasty wif nice sea view. Buggy is available to go around resort.

Always has to using buggy but buggy is not enough . So
I have to waiting long time
Also under bed never clean . A lot of dust …
If i go to town i take to car 50min~ an hour
Too far a way to town ..

Room was old and tired. There was a bad smell in the bathroom which we complained about and the staff came and installed aromatherapy and an air purifier. By aromatherapy, they meant burning essential oils which mask off the smell. The air purifier was a cheap water based kind that looks more like a humidifier.
We had DIY bbq dinner which was a great experience but expensive. We brought our own wine. Breakfast was alright but nothing special.
Having our own pool was great. Overall, it was underwhelming and we would not go again.
