Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba - Adults Only

This lush garden boutique hotel offers casitas, making this a quiet private venue. The service is superb and access to pools and the beach make this an easy place to pick.

The check in process of Boardwalk Boutique Hotel was smooth and easy. Along with the rest of the front lobby desk, Genesis went beyond the call of normal duty in hosting guests with a friendly and personable demeanor. With the other restaurant servers, Massy was wonderful and catered to customer needs with an extra friendly engagement. The grounds were very safe and secure with the front gate. They were also quiet, clean, and well kept. The pools and pool areas were also all clean and well kept. The beach shuttle was an added convenience, along with the beach chair reservations. The breakfast was good with a nice range of choices on the menu. The sweet tea included daily in the room was delicious! This is coming from a non-tea drinker. The kitchenette was well-equipped (fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, stovetop [no oven], plates, cups, cutlery, etc.). The outdoor space had a hammock, table, seats, and bbq grill. The included insect repellent was a great and thoughtful addition. There was the option to use a smartphone as keyless entry and exit of the casita. The entire casita and bed were extra comfortable and pleasing to the eyes. Henry, the resident chicken on the property, needs to be re-homed. Along with Henry, both the lizards and cats roaming around the restaurant was a little off-putting to us. We understand that there may be nothing that can be done to keep them off the entire property; however, these animals running around the dining hall seems like it could be more feasibly prevented. The shower was not consistent in its temperature or pressure. During showers, water would abruptly go from comfortable to scaldingly too hot in seconds. Dialing it back from this would typically result in an uncomfortable too-cold temperature. The tiled floor in the shower was very slippery with no grab bar, mat, textured floor surface, or anything to prevent a potential slip and fall. At the restaurant, we continually requested no ice in our drinks daily. However, our bartender would consistently include ice in them, anyway, or continually try to insistently talk us into accepting ice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

This was my second stay at Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba, and it was as amazing as my first time. Prior to discovering Boardwalk, I stayed at the Marriott, which is nice, however doesn’t offer the quiet, elegant, spa-like retreat that makes you feel like you really had a relaxing vacation. It’s difficult to go back to staying in a hotel room after experiencing the Boardwalk’s spacious casitas, tranquil gardens, and relaxing pool. And now that they have build out the Coco Café, I enjoyed walking over for a delicious breakfast and poolside mid-day snack at happy hour. They have everything you need on site, even a food service that delivers anything you need with no delivery charge! And the spa, my second time getting a massage, is awesome, and very reasonable. The beach is two short blocks away, or travel on the chi chi shuttle, and reserve a palapa at no charge. There is food service on the beach from the Ritz Carlton or walk to the restaurants along the beach that have delicious food, or back to the Boardwalk’s Coco Café. The beach section that the Boardwalk has is away from the high-rise hotels busy beaches. But if you are looking for a bustling beach, you can always take a walk to them. The staff are all so accommodating, the casitas and the grounds are so immaculate that I do not have one thing to point out that I would suggest to improve on. Can’t wait to go back to the Broardwalk next year!!

Too 3 hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Cute and private and super nice staff. Close to beach and comparable pools as the ritz! So much vegetation you feel like each casita is its own world! Will be back! Thank you so much. Plunge pool casita is 10/10!

This a quiet peaceful place in a private setting. It’s so much better than big box hotels. Our casita was spacious, well equipped and lovely. Absolutely spotless- the whole property is well maintained. The staff friendly but not intrusive. Perfect place to renew what needs renewing.

My husband and I just returned from this beautiful hotel. I’m almost reluctant to write this review because I want to keep it my little secret. We loved everything about it. We used both pools and always had them to ourselves. We ate at the Coco Cafe three times. The food was delicious. The beach was clean and uncrowded. The staff went out of their way to make our vacation a memorable one. I especially loved the kitties. I’m sure they miss us as much as we miss them. We will be coming back to The Boardwalk again for sure!

This place is a hidden gem!! I couldn't say enough good things about the property or the staff. Genesis at the front desk was exceptional!!! The casitas are spacious, private and just a perfect change from the regular all-inclusive or large chain hotels. Don't be intimidated by it being across the street from the beach, it's a short walk or ChiChi will take you over there. The resident cats are adorable and I'm not even a cat person lol! Book your trip now-you won't regret it.

We have vacationed in Aruba 7 times. We are return visitors to The Boardwalk resort. The grounds are very well kept, very clean and beautiful. Rooms are spotless, all look brand new, even though they have been there several years. Great restaurant on the grounds. As always Aruba does not disappoint. Great place to stay.
