After seeing Apartment 5 last year - ground floor, elegant, nice quiet etc we booked it for 2 weeks for early July 24 . Never again!! Cost nearly $5000 which included the card surcharge. So many things wrong with that apartment- VERY slow heating cooktop, queen bed most uncomfortable., door next door kept slamming loudly as people went in and out. Garden watering in morning meant outdoor setting soaked so no morning brekky out there, T.V set up so bad, we had to use our own Google account. to get SBS on Demand. Nothing else offered. Took ages for hot water to come through anywhere. Freezer ice cube tray became stuck with ice - we couldn't get it out, or in, for that matter. Grossly overpriced Apartment. Our friends staying up stairs - booked 1 month - complained toilet above them flushed ALL night. When complained to manager Di, said 'Not my problem - the owners problem!!'. I mean REALLY????? Just so disappointed and will NEVER stay there AGAIN!!!
Response from Property: Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy the specific apartment you stayed in. We have many amazing reviews for that particular apartment and many repeat guests request that apartment. We worked very hard to respond to your requests during your stay, including mopping the outside balcony every morning after it rained. My staff, including Di would never respond as your have stated, she is a very professional employee. I am proud of our team at Munna who work tirelessly to give our guests the best experience possible. Manager.

We visit Noosa every year and unfortunately I would rate this as the worst we have ever had. The complex is getting old but this did not worry us as our apartment was clean and comfortable. The last 3 days of our stay was marred by the constant jack hammering of the apartment next door. If we were given an apartment further away from ours it could have been almost bearable but no prior warning was given of this work being undertaken by management. We have emailed the management and made our concerns but as to yet we are still waiting for a reply. Very Poor Form Munna Beach !
Response from Property: Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that we had renovation coincide with your stay with us. This was scheduled in low season to minimise the impact on guests. Unfortunately from time to time it is necessary for our apartments to be upgraded and we try to do everything possible to minimise the impact. We did notify all guests when there would be any noise. We have not received any communication from you regarding your stay. Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss further.

The apartments were nice enough for the price point, facilities were good the location was great. On-site management were friendly and professional. One star because demolition of another apartment started without warning in the middle of our stay. It was the unbearably loud constant jack hammering that forced us to move out and find alternative accommodation early in the morning. Based on the sudden queue of guests at reception also trying to leave that morning I don't feel we were being unreasonable in our complaint. I work in the building industry so I understand that demolition and renovation is necessary and that noise is often unavoidable but I also know that a job of that scale does not happen without prior planning, so my gripe here is not being advised of the planned work while booking. Not even the day before or morning of starting. Skip bins and trades suddenly arrived and work commenced. I can only think we were purposefully not advised as they knew we would go elsewhere and we feel very deceived by this. The logistics of suddenly having to move our large group to alternative accommodation caused us to lose an entire day of our short holiday. We were refunded the unused portion of our stay but no compensation for the day lost moving out. We were offered a voucher for a few days of free accommodation in the next 12 months but that is of no use to us and, even if it was, we would never go back. I suppose one could say we should have asked about any planned renovations as part of our due diligence while booking so the main purpose of this review is to warn others to learn from our misfortune: always ask about upcoming planned work before booking as that information is not volunteered.
Response from Property: Thanks you for your feedback. I am sorry that the unit by you had renovation improvement works during your stay. We schedule any renovation works of our apartments in low season to minimise the inconvenience to our guests. We did notify all guests of the building work, however as you were checking out that morning and building work can only start at 8am, we did not notify you in this instance. I apologised for this at the time and refunded you two days accomodation. At the time I believe you felt this was more than fair.

Having tried several apartments in Noosaville, this was the best by far. Apartment had beed modernised and had an excellent range of features including a full kitchen with great appliances. Staff where flexible and helpful and the ground and outdoor facilities where in excellent condition.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We hope to see you again another time.

We have just spent a week at Munna Beach Apartments and we can't recommend them enough. We stayed in a superior garden view apartment toward the back of the complex. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, well equipped and beautifully appointed. It was also really quiet which we appreciated. We absolutely loved all the additional touches such as retractable blind on the balcony and modern furnishings and appliances The gardens, pool and BBQ area are stunning and are maintained to an exceptionally high standard. We also loved the location of the complex - so quiet but so close to all the cafes, restaurants and bars that Noosaville has to offer, not to mention fabulous coffee just across the road! A special shout out to Jojo and Sharon too who were really helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had when booking and prior to our arrival. Many thanks for a memorable stay - we we definitely be back

We have been staying regularly at Munna Beach for the last 8-9 years, in a number of apartments both Standard and Superior. This time we visited as a family of six, so took a 3-bed waterfront apartment (no 12). Whilst the resort, swimming pool and facilities were as good as ever, sadly this particular apartment was very disappointing and best avoided. Firstly it’s categorised as ‘Waterfront Superior’. Yes it’s waterfront, but it’s far from Superior. We have stayed in better quality Standard apartments at the resort. The apartment is long overdue for a total refurb and replacement of carpets, furniture and kitchen equipment to bring it up to standard. It has a build up of long-term grime – the sofa and carpets particularly were dirty and stained, and felt so dirty we actually put towels on them before using. Aside from the furniture being damaged, one outdoor chair broke when we sat on it, leaving a metal spike exposed. Whilst the apartment accommodates six people, it is inadequately kitted out for six. There was insufficient and old/rusted kitchen equipment to be able to cook. The pans did not work on the cooktop, which would not get to the required heat. The fridge interior casing is cracked and everything in the fridge stayed wet (yes, it’s Queensland but this still shouldn’t happen). The dryer doesn’t dry. We did report this, and the water container needed emptying, however this didn’t improve things. We ended up Googling the dryer to find it has overall reviews of 2.8 with the comments confirming that everything remains wet even after two hours of drying time. It needs replacing. The bed in Bedroom 1 – the worst we have ever encountered in decades of travel. It is so hard that it was impossible to sleep on and we both suffered joint pain every morning, even after padding it with additional blankets. The single beds were of better quality. The list is endless, but includes long-term mould in the shower, on the shutters and window frames, plus badly marked walls throughout …. we could go on. Disappointingly we weren’t offered any form of discount having discussed this with the onsite managers. Apartment 12 is in desperate need of attention, and should be de-listed. It is not representative of the rest of Munna Beach sadly.

The complex grounds are well maintained with beautifully kept landscaping, clean, pool was lovely and Reception staff were helpful. Complex is conveniently located. We stayed in No 6 which is a bit dated/tired and some net curtains need replacing, apartment had a constant musty smell (think in 2nd bedroom), not much light internally, one morning found a large cockroach on the wall in lounge, on arrival patio area table and floor hadn't been cleaned so cleaned ourselves. There are residents in the complex so there was occasion(s) when we had a screaming child in the day/early morning (did report to Reception as concerned for childs wellbeing). Overall reasonable stay but not again in No 6

We just had 10 days here, and I recommend it. Staff were friendly and efficient. It's was very clean. The pool area was fantastic and very family friendly. The resort is in a great position in Noosaville, close to so many eating places. Thanks very much for a great stay and we will be back.

After glowing reviews on TripAdvisor booked Munna without hesitation. Unlike me as I'm usually very detailed with places I'm going to stay. We lucked in as I loved the position of the apartments, right opposite the Noosa River in Noosaville. Picked up a Car Next Door from just near the airport and took ½ hr to get to the apartment. Booked at 2 bedroom apartment no 39. Great space with kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms and two bedrooms (one queen and the other two king singles). Had our own undercover carparking. Great position close to all the Noosaville eateries and boating/kayaking facilities. Bus stop right around the corner. Free buses on the weekends until end of summer season Feb 2023. Lovely balcony overlooking the water and just a glimpse of the pool below. Large flatscreen tv which was great (we used our google cast as suggested by the staff) though it made everything look like a video. Very strange but no biggie. Wifi very good as a dedicated modem in each apartment with passcodes for the apartment and down by the pool. The place was SO quiet for most of the stay. We realized the place still had vacancies but was no vacancy by the time we left. Huge apartment had ceiling fans but disappointed that bedrooms didn’t have aircon. Rather surprised actually, I assumed there would be and as the main bedroom was north west facing and coming into the apartment in the afternoon on one of the hottest days so far (30C) and the blind was up, it was so hot and difficult to sleep in, as again my picky nature realized the sheets were poly/cotton. Way too hot to sleep in. A suggestion to the owners, I’d really get those changed to cotton only in future. Bed very comfortable. Bathrooms were great, with a spa bath in the main bathroom. Would I stay again? Yes, if aircon supplied in bedrooms and sheets changed. Not absolute no brainers but being in a warm climate makes for uncomfortable sleeping without them. May be other rooms with different positioning would make things better and ultimately after blasting the apartment with the coldest setting in 24 hours the rooms were cooler and temps dropped whilst we were there which helped. Also charging $5 for pool towels a little disappointing. All over very happy with Munna. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

We are a group of 8 ladies who recently stayed at Munna Beach apartments. We had 2 x 3 bedroom apartments, our accommodation was very comfortable, clean & roomy. Great location and short walk to restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, we would definitely recommend this property.

We stayed in room 11 which is one of the river front 2 bedroom apartments and we were thrilled. 2 balconies to watch the river and street views from. Everything we needed was in our lovely apartment, full kitchen facilities, full laundry. 2 bathrooms, one with a bath. We were very comfortable there. The location is great. All the Noosaville restaurants on the same street and a short stroll. The coffee shop directly opposite. Boat or kayak hire places to choose from also. The supermarket is only 1km away. And the walk to Hastings street Noosa was only 2.5km and all flat. Or you can take the ferry. The pool was beautiful and heated for our winter stay and there is undercover car parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment with some if the best views of the river. The rooms requires some updating to freshen them up to the expected standard for the cost. No air conditioning in bedroomsand living areas need updating,. We where hoping for improved experience this year but once again poor communication from management continued.
