We were there for a high school basketball tournament. Beds and room were great. With all of the kids in the hotel, we thought it would be noisy. Rooms were very quiet.

Our daughter attends college here and we are Bonvoy members so stay here often. That is about to change. We have tolerated out of date rooms and even one tim adjoining rooms where the HVAC was malfunctioning and our rooms were 94 degrees by morning, but we keep coming back because of the convenient location across the street from our daughter's dorm. This past weekend was the worst stay to date. I can't believe they would put someone in room 403. One of the bed headboards is askew like it's falling off the wall, the light fixture between the 2 beds is completely broken and falling over, one bed was way lower than the other and had a thinner, hard mattress, the sheets were scratchy, and the chair had large black stains on it. I took pictures. We will not stay in this hotel again and will find someplace else to stay in the future as our daughter still has 2 more years of school left.

I will not be staying here in the future. During my stay there were several homeless people sleeping on the lobby couch and chair the mornings that I was present (March 10-14). Recognize that there is an increasing number of homeless in uptown normal, but does not align to expectations of a hotel.
