Disappointing service from management, unfriendly and rude. Wasn’t very welcoming upon arrival. Caravan park was clean and sites were a good size. Ammenities were old and not well cleaned or maintained. No washing machines or kitchen/bbq area.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely recommend it. Breakfast and dinner covered all the bases and included gluten free food. The room was cool and comfortable- while some used air conditioners, we didn't feel the need. People working at the Motel were so friendly and welcoming (the small dog living their is even more friendly and welcoming).

Our stay here was disappointing. The refrigerator hadn't been cleaned, there was coffee but no tea, and there was a dirty singlet hanging up in the cupboard. The soap holder in the shower was encrusted with soap. I wouldn't stay here again.

We enjoyed staying there, the food was excellent, service was friendly. The room had everything you needed, there were table and chairs outside to enjoy a drink. The bed was comfortable and the pool was cold. They had a pet wallaby locked in the pool area at night and he was very cute. It was centrally located.

This was our first accommodation for the Gulflander/Savannahlander train tour. From the moment we walked in, we were a little worried. Firstly, the site looked a mess, secondly they didn’t have our booking. There were three of us in this situation. We’re still not sure sure why this happened. Anyway, rooms were sorted out. There was an apology that they had been shut for two years due to Covid (this was an cordoned off town), but there were still works being undertaken. Some rooms had two a/c, but the remote control worked on neither. Some had holes where the old ones had been taken out. We were in 39 degrees and needed the a/c. The rooms were of the older style type of hotel and looked like they had been redecorated recently, however the paint job was all black, including the ceiling, which made it very oppressive and dark. In our room the light shade had been taken off to allow more light and there were still broken pieces of lamp left in our cupboards. We were missing the shower mat too, which made getting out of the shower slippery. The pool was nice, but could have been a little cleaner. The restaurant was fine and the food was good buffet type food, however, having left over junk where you walked in to get the food was a little disconcerting. This could be so much better than what it was. I hope things have now got back into the swing of things and all the renovations and ground tidying has been done.

This is the place to stay simply for the hospitality provided by the Hotel team who couldnt do enoughfor us. Easy walk into town or a hire car for the day is easily arranged. We stayed in the hotel which was clean and the best showers. Caravan park is neat and tidy with great amenities. Even got a kiss from a kangaroo that is in care with hotel management
