Lakeshore Suites

Lakeshore Suites is indeed a lovely motel with spacious rooms, a coffee maker, fridge, reliable Wi-Fi, and a good standard of cleanliness. All the basics are covered, which is expected at the relatively high price. Unfortunately, the rooms are connected two by two with (locked) doors in between. It’s far too easy to hear what your neighbors are up to. Our neighbors—and we—went in and out of the main door several times, and even more through the bathroom door. Each time, the doors creaked like something out of a ******* house! Really, really loud. It might seem like a minor detail, but when it wakes you up, it’s anything but trivial. So, dear management, get those door hinges oiled. Sooner rather than later.

We only stayed one night on our way home after an 8 day holiday. This place is a real oasis! We loved the fact that the bedroom was separate from the living/kitchen area with a separate entrance to the very clean bathroom. The owners were extremely accommodating. Tourist attractions and convenience stores were close by and if you had extra time, you could easily enjoy the walk along the lakeshore. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here twice on our cross Canada trip. The owners were very nice and upgraded us on our return journey. The rooms are well equipped and have everything that you might need. It was a quiet motel with the rooms running perpendicular to the roadway. Close to restaurants and the waterfront. We would definitely stay here again.

Our large room measured about 400 square feet and was furnished and decorated to a superior level of quality than one would expect from a motel. The equipment is adequate and includes air conditioning, although we couldn't get the television to work, which might be our incompetence! It is quiet, within walking distance of a number of restaurants and a short drive to everything that North Bay has to offer.
