We had a fantastic stay at the Nether Abbey Hotel. Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly and helpful.

Staff all friendly and attentive. Good breakfasts set you up for the day, and the evening meals are really good – try the lobster! Clean room, good shower, comfy bed. The room was maybe a little bit tired. High standard of service and kindness from everyone, and a lovely feel to the hotel. Highly recommend and would like to return.

Fantastic meal enjoyed by all four of us. Fresh and plentiful! Impeccable service as always. The fish pie was delightful and packed full of tasty bites. The Nether Abbey never lets us down and is very highly recommended. Finest ingredients are obviously used to serve such marvellous fayre

Just finished another fantastic stay. Staff were absolutely amazing and our room was wonderful as always. Lovely meal with some lovely touches. It really feels like a home from home! Thanks very much. We will definitely be back. See you soon.

This is a beautiful hotel, we had a gorgeous spacious bedroom with a great bathroom and shower. The bar was lively with a great atmosphere and we had a lovely dinner there. We loved our stay here, the breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly.

Room. Was freezing snd facilities poor. Was glad to get home. Wasnt even asked hiw my stat as therefore no opportunity to complain. Took my money on arrival before even entering the room. Miserable experience.

Another visit to Nether Abbey. Usual super Flyhalf bar, with great atmosphere. Menu choice good if limited, but quality first class. A special each evening would help. Breakfast first class, hot, and personal service. Unfortunately, 3* because the room was freezing. My wife thought she would have to go to bed fully clothed as we couldn’t get warm. Second night we successfully got a fan heater for the room, which made all the difference. The windows need replacing, as they are all single glazed, and hence the cold. The heating is insufficient for the room, and the en-suite toilet was freezing also. Wouldn’t take a huge investment to make this better, but in this day and age cold rooms are a no no.

Stayed here for a few nights whilst on a work trip, room was clean and bright, as was the bathroom. The staff were absolutely lovely and so accommodating- the lady at breakfast was extremely nice and was even able to let me have breakfast slightly earlier than normal on one occasions as I had to leave early for a meeting. I will definitely stay here again when in the area for work. The food is nice at both breakfast and dinner and there is a good selection of wines. My only bit of advice is bring warm pyjamas if you’re staying in winter as the windows are only single glazed and it gets VERY chilly!!

Fantastic hotel the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast & evening meal was excellent. Only down side room was a little cool for my wife but overall fantastic
