The white was ok but the couch cushions was torn and the garbage disposal was not working right I asked staff for new towels and to have trash taken out and to fix disposal while we were gone as we left in the morning. I came back and none of that happened. Housekeeping came up later and brought towels but I had to law her to take the trash and she seemed confused by the request. Breakfast didn’t have any fruit the first day. It was an ok stay not sure I’ll pick this one again

Close to airport and shuttle available to get you there within 10-15 minutes. Set up a pickup with the front desk, but also get a phone number for the shuttle folks(who will leave from the other side of the property--Doubletree). We had an issue in that the check-in agent called in the pickup for us so we could get a ride from airport after we dropped off our car rental. They didn't show and it took a phone call to get picked up. We had to search for the number and it was a pain. So we waited about 45 minutes in the brisk weather. Also, because we used Travelocity, when they needed to rebook us because they overbooked the type of room we had, Travelocity sent them no phone number for us so we didn't get contacted about the problem until we were at the front desk being told "Sorry, that type of room is no longer available".

This was our first stay in Charleston. One of the main reasons for picking this hotel was it was pet friendly. Knowing what we know now, we would have stayed closer to the downtown area. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from downtown. Overall, it is a good hotel. The room was spacious with a useful kitchenette. The bathroom is kinda small but it worked. The breakfast was average, at best. Your normal run-of-the-mill breakfast. It is connected to the DoubleTree which had a bar and restaurant. So that was useful. The pool was really cold! I am not sure ifthe heater was working.

unfriendly staff, ignorant. Not clean bedding. I found hair on my bed. I am sure the bedding unchanged after the last clients. Strong smell of food from the other rooms. I will not recommend that hotel. The manager has a lot to work with the staff.
