The rooms smelled funky, floors were sticky, furniture in our rooms had stains. the rooms did not have any USB ports just plugs, but half o them did not work. I couldn't find a hair dryer in our room. The staff was super friendly though. Breakfast and the hotel restaurant were great. At the convention center, the large room we were in needed a rug to quiet and warm the room. It was weird to not have screens to see things and in the main room if the presentation was light you couldn't see it because the lights couldn't dim. The Catering manager at the convention center was horrible, we had requested special meals because of food allergies and he kept trying to foist a vegan dish off on us. Once we talked to the Chef and he understood things got better, until the catering manager got involved again. I do not recommend.

Initially booked a 4 night stay here in March 2024. Had stayed here in the past with good experience but has been a few years. This booking was awful. We were booked into a room, 828, that smelled upon walking in. First noticed the dirty, buckling carpet, then the TV cabinet door that was busted off. the bedroom TV was missing and the phone was smashed. While waiting to change rooms, noticed that the TV in the living room didn't work either. I would not have stayed in this room for free. We were moved to a room on second floor that also stunk with stains on couch and chair, dirty sheets on pull out sofa, dirty comforter and pillow that smelled as if it had not been laundered. Then found the dirty ring around the comforter. Staff was apathetic to our concerns. Left after 1 night. hotel needs to close for renovations...Dirty, smelly and unaccommodating .....

Great place to stay in the Charleston area. I always stay at Hilton hotels and this one did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff with clean and comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast Buffet as well and a fabulous bar in the Lobby. They even have a restaurant on site called the Palm Tree Grill which has excellent food. This hotel is a really great value for the money being you are only 15 minutes from historic downtown Charleston and the beaches without the historic downtown and beach prices. We stayed here for the week of my birthday for Vacation and had such a lovely time. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well kept up and we really enjoyed the evening reception and breakfast. There were so many places my family could hang out in and play games and socialize. The staff was super friendly and the nice suites were so nice.

Customer service was great, loved the free buffet breakfast and the cocktail reception in the evening. The only negative was that we booked this hotel for the hot tub and didn’t realize the hot tub closes after July.

The location is great! The hotel, not so much. The bathroom smelled like cheese. It was so bad that I bought cleaning supplies from walmart to try and fix the problem. Unfortunately, that didn't help. The smell had me sick to my stomach. Do not waste your time here. If the owners are reading this, please renovate soon.
