The location of the facility didn’t look like it was in the best neighborhood and if you’ve never been then you wouldn’t know when you booked it. It was clean, however, the bathroom could have been updated w caulking and a little cleaner, there was black around the edges of the tub. The breakfast of coffee, bagels and danishes were the norm for an included breakfast. I paid a higher rate thinking it was a smoking room as the others were listed as nonsmoking but found out the whole establishment is nonsmoking so I lost money there!! Somehow that should have been disclosed.

I will never stay there again or tell no one to stay there. My liners was dirty the air conditioning was leaking water on the floor the microwave went out on us and we could not get one so we cannot heat our food up to eat for our kids. The worst service I have ever had at a hotel.

Front desk staff was friendly, professional and helpful! The room looked great at first glance, but once we started getting settled we found a few concerning issues. There was a (who knows how old) cup of “hot” tea left in the microwave from a previous guest, which I completely understand being an easy thing to overlook, but the sheets had very clearly not been changed as well. There were questionable stains and substances on one of the beds. Past that the facilities were nice and well kept. Would highly recommend addressing the issues with housekeeping, but the rest of our experience was pleasant.

The only reason they got 2/5 was the amazing customer service and friendly staff. However, the rooms were lacking in cleanliness and overall esthetic. The first room I was given smelled musty, the bed had hair on it, the sheets I was given were stained and it had no remote for the television. While I was looking for the remote, I checked behind the bed which was caked in dust, trash and discarded clothing. I then went to call the front desk from the room phone but it didn’t work. They accommodated me with another room but the tv remote was dead (the staff did replace the batteries.) Breakfast was severely lacking as all they had were waffles, biscuits and gravy or cereal. If the hotel was as great as the actual staff, this place would be sold out all the time. Unfortunately I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The first 3days the heat, room temperature was cool. Heating system was not working. Front desk gave portable heater.

The bathroom wasn't very clean. The previous guest's washcloth was still hanging on the shower curtain rod. The bathroom sink barely drained. The battery in the remote needed changing as it only worked 1ft away from the tv.

This hotel is a very nice place to stay, the rooms are nice it has a huge TV, coffee maker, nice bathroom also. It's located close enough to the city of Charleston about 10 miles out but easy to access.
