Not very clean, elevator was disgusting. The tracks were full of food and crud from not being cleaned.

So the initial impression of the facility wasn't that bad. The staff was pleasant and helpful and remained so throughout our entire stay. The facilities were what made me give a downgraded rating. The halls smelled like pot smoke and so did our room. Almost to the point of being unbearable. In the space between on the beds and wall I found old drunk bottles and candy/food on the floor. I also went to use the hair dryer (which didn't work) and found it had something all over it and had not been properly cleaned. In all honesty I have staid at this hotel many times, but it has been a few years since my last stay. I am very disappointed with my stay. On the high side the staff were awesome, accommodating, and very friendly. Good to see that Charleston southern charm is still alive and well.

I don’t typically write poor reviews, but this stay was way below average. Our room was very dirty upon arrival, with multiple red and chunky stains all over our carpet and desk chair. Plus we had no cable, rendering the television useless. We looked past both of these issues because we found a concerning amount of black specks in our sink water. I will give major props to the staff who handled it quickly and kindly, thank you all for making our stay better (besides the one front desk worker who constantly acts like all the guests are inconveniencing him)

I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of stay. I was allowed to check in early and got a nice comfortable room. The breakfast was also good. I was expecting bagels and cream cheese but got SOS and fresh cooked eggs! :) Also the breakfast lady was kind and friendly. I will stay here again....

Short driving distance from Charleston. Nice size room, clean. We had a problem with the sink in the room, and it was fixed just a few minutes after I told the front desk lady about it.. great service.
