Although the common areas (lobby, breakfast room, fitness room, pool and patio), as well as the room itself, were very nice - clean and updated - the beds/mattresses in our room were THE WORST!!! My husband slept on the fold down (futon-style) sofa, which was only marginally better than the beds, but we both woke with sore backs from the lack of proper support. The mattresses were very squishy - almost lumpy - it made me wonder if Marriott Corporation sends all of their old, broken-down mattresses to this hotel!! (To be fair and honest, the linens were lovely!) Pillows were just ok - kind of crinkly and lumpy. This was the third hotel/VRBO home we stayed in on this trip, and the only one that had objectionable bedding. If you have ANY type of back or joint issues, DO NOT stay here!!!.

This is my third time staying at a Springhill Suites location. The property was clean, the room was comfortable and spacious as usual. I do wish the water pressure was stronger; it took a little longer to shower as a result, but overall i had a good stay.

Beautiful hotel. Night light in the bathroom would be nice. Breakfast was expected, would be nice for something special besides the usual fair. Great place to stay for events at any of the N Charleston venues.

Our stay was wonderful. We had a suite with 2 queen beds, a really comfortable sofa and tne bathroom was very spacious with a really powerful shower with hot water. We will stay there again. Staff were good, breakfast was okay, not the best but they had the staples for a hotel breakfast; waffles, sausage, eggs, fruit, danish and decent coffee.
