Staff at the front desk when we checked in was great! She was very helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. Unfortunately our room was dirty, there was trash under the bar sink that hasn’t been thrown and had an odor, there was something smeared on the wall in the bathroom, and furniture was very dusty. Pretty disappointed with the cleanliness. Room itlaed was spacious and facility was updated.

Great view. Bathroom did not have a vent fan, the staff was incredible, mattress was hard, dogs barked until about midnight which was rough.

We love staying at this hotel. Its an older hotel that has been nicely remodeled and you can't beat the location - dead center in the middle of downtown where all the action is and even has staged gunfights on Main Street right outside the hotel. The front desk staff was exceptional, the rooms were nice and clean, the free breakfast was adequate and we took full advantage of the large pool area with whirlpool hot tub. Free parking was only a short block and a half walk to their private parking lot. We have always stayed at this hotel on our visits to Deadwood and highly recommend it.

Bathroom was so dirty I didn’t feel comfortable to shower. So much hair still in the drain & pink mold around the edges. Staff at the check in was very rude as well. Will never stay here again. For $450 a night I expected so much better..
