This is our fourth stay at The Pheasant. The hotel is really nice and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The daily room service lets it down a little because it lacks finesse and items that are used are not always replaced. They also don’t appear to vacuum the rooms often enough. The building itself is beautiful and in a peaceful location.

We had a really relaxing time. Beautiful and tranquil part of the country. All the staff at the Pheasant were extremely nice and accommodating. Would stay again!

A very comfortable and clean hotel with everything you need in your room including a radio, a little too warm in bed a thinner duvet would have been better. Breakfast was the best meal of the day with very efficient and smart staff. There was sometimes quite a wait for our evening meal.

Lovely hotel just off A road, but still very quiet. Well kept grounds. Good quality furniture in main rooms and bedrooms. Large shower with digital controls. helpful staff, good value evening meals, wine reasonable prices, pleasant formal dining room. It would be nice to have fresh flowers in the main lounges and areas, rather than fake.

I have just returned after spending 4 nights with my husband at The Pheasant, and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, and I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer and the refrigerator in the room. It would have been nice to have 2 packets of biscuits instead of one, and the very small bottle of milk is great, but two would be better! The shower was very low pressured, but did the job! Breakfast was very good, and the two dinners we had were good, but the menu, for us, was a bit uninspiring. The service in the restaurant was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A gorgeous property in a gorgeous setting. Has the wow factor as you drive up to it. We loved the attention to detail and the extra little touches everywhere. Spare glasses in case you forget yours, cotton wool balls in the bathroom, tissues in the hallway - lots of things here and there that just do not exist in other hotels. The staff here are all fabulous. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. The food was absolutely delicious and the whole place makes you feel relaxed the minute you walk in. What more can we say? It’s an absolute pleasure to stay here and we will be back.

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. Lovely well equipped comfortable room. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Nice lounge area and outdoor seating. Great quality hotel.
