2-Star Hotels in North Richland Hills

We had a reservation at the property for person trip! As per check in the front desk person was very friendly and told us about close by shopping mall and restaurants. Lobby was simple and clean, our room was very clean and room smelled clean also. Overall I would stay there again.

WOW! Where to begin; me and the boys hit the road for one last guys trip of the year and selected this Motel 6 due to its proximity and price. We were greeted by a (mostly) friendly woman who (probably) assured us the room had been cleaned. In excitement we entered the room to be overwhelmed with the smell of cheap cigarettes and B.O. Getting past that, we examined the (dirty) bedsheets to determine if the stains were blood/lipstick/some other bodily fluid. The shower was very slippery and my boy fell twice while in there, plus all our towels were tinted a light brown and had much other hair on them that was not ours. I’m leaving a second star only because the door stayed locked all night long.

02.5-6. 2022 The booking was paid by card, but the deposit was left in cash - $ 100. When leaving the room, the girl at the reception desk said that they would not give us the deposit because they did not find two small towels in our room, allegedly we appropriated them and $ 100 is damage. It's clear that we didn't take them, we don't need them) They began to explain to the man, who, among other things, organizes breakfasts there, that we did not take them and there are exactly as many towels as they were put in the room. I told my husband to call the police and let them inspect our car and all our belongings, and then we will figure out why they illegally tried to withhold our money from us. After that, the man again called someone very quickly, there was a short conversation, and then said that it was cleaning yesterday I forgot to put it in the room and we can pick up our deposit. It turns out that the cleaning in 15 seconds of the dialogue remembered which of the 50-100 rooms did not put two small towels🤦🏼♀️ Or I don't know what the hotel administration was hoping for when they decided to do this to their guests!

Normal for a Motel 6, but this hotel is NO FRILLS...No coffee maker, no clock, no dresser...not much of anything except a bed, tv and bathroom. But it DID have a small frig and VERY small microwave! The bathroom was fairly large and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room in general was nice and clean. The outdoor area had a lot of trash blown around, but they had had a couple of days of heavy winds which didn't help. The location is great, but a bit tricky to get to until you figure it out. It is right off of 820 but you have to negotiate around a one way street and kind of come in from the back side. There are SEVERAL restaurants within a mile or so and include just about everything you'd want to eat from a quick drive thru to a chinese buffet. One of the reviews mentioned bedbugs. We did not experience any.
