Stayed here for the Great North Run weekend. Everywhere was booked up so took a chance on this place. Met by Kel on arrival who was friendly and gave us the key to our room. The room was fine for a one night stay with plenty of space. The toilet roll was running low so I text Kel and she had a new industrial sized roll for the morning. Great service! Shared bathroom was fine. There was some sound from the nightclub but as a heavy sleeper I wasn’t overly disturbed. Some lighter sleepers did mention they hadn’t heard the Vengabous for a while, pretty much a soundtrack to sleep to. A memorable place to stay!
