Travelodge Grantham South Witham

Great and friendly staff, we got a family room and it was really well clean tidy, the receptionist helped me locate a restaurant for me and my children she was very helpful and smiled throught the talk, the room was really nice and cosy the receptionist helped us with any extra items we needed eg pillows and milks

Not much to recommend this Travelodge. The postcode on the emailed booking form was wrong and guided me to the wrong Travelodge. The heater in the room requires a QR code to be used to download instructions. If you override this and use the manual control, heating is only provided for a very few minutes. I had to clean the bath myself before I could use it and the bath is very shallow and short. I had to practice the yoga lotus position to try to fit in the bath and even then my body was not submerged. On a positive note, the staff were very pleasant and helpful

Stayed here for a few days while visiting rutland water and stamford...even though its waiting for a refurb it was still comfortable for us ,,,we stayed in the disabled accessible room which is the first and nearest room to the main entrance,,and surprisingly we were not disturbed by banging doors ...The staff were again very welcoming and friendly at all times,,,we now stay in travel lodges wherever we go when we go away for a few days because my wife is in a wheelchair and their disabled access rooms are excellent,,we carnt recommend them enough for the excellent standard of their disabled rooms,,,

Staff are very helpful and happy, nothing too much trouble. Nice size room, comfortable and clean, great price. Good location, with a decent sized car park . Was very quiet despite the close proximity to the A1. What more could you want! Will stay again.

Access is extremely dangerous from the A1, very short off ramp involving heavy braking in heavy traffic.. Exit onto the A1 is no better requiring huge acceleration into A! truck traffic. Not for the faint hearted. Whole building tired - badly in need of investment or closure. Numerous faults, easily remedied with effort but no effort taken. Dripping overflows. Insufficient tea or coffee. Stained sheets. Uncomfortable bed. Pathetic flush on toilet. Useless shower in bath.

Bed was comfy. Room was ok but dust on bedhead. Drain smell from bathroom, to be fair we didn’t complain at the time just kept the bathroom door closed. We advised the reception the following morning. BBC channels were no -existent… again advised next day.
