The house is old but the bathroom is newly renovated. The surrounding environment is good. The restaurant downstairs is the highlight and is delicious.

The Plough Inn was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless! I had the best nights sleep ever because it’s so nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious also, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. Would love to visit it again. A lovely, cosy Yorkshire dales vibe.

Fantastic place. After long 🚶♀️ 🚶♂️ choose this place accidentally, but we are very impressed. Clean, smiling staff and Fantastic food.... Scallops with Yorkshire Ribey and Set menu £27 3 course Ham Hock, Fish Pie and Berry Mess Well done 👏 and Thank you

Very friendly staff and made our 2 dogs very welcome. Room nice, pub nice also. Large gardens with seating although the weather was too cold to take advantage of. Food was very good with specials changing daily while we were there. Breakfast was excellent

So we have now spent Saturday and Sunday evening in the pub eating and drinking, Saturday we are from the ala carte menu and Sunday we had the roast beef Sunday dinner both were fantastic and i would highly recommend this place and it’s really good value for money, THE HOT PORK SCRATCHINGS ARE A MUST EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST HAVING A BEER! They also accommodate dogs!

A very good small hotel with helpful friendly staff and excellent food. The only small criticism is that it was quite cold in the communal areas such as the bar. The restaurant area was much better. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place. The rooms are beautiful. The staff are great. So caring. They even provided food for us at 11.30 at night. You can’t ask for anything more. Will definitely book this place again. The food is amazing and the deserts are scrumptious

Family of 3 had Sunday lunch here last week wow it was delicious food top notch melted in your mouth, very professional set up and beautiful inn, staff were very attentive I can see why they have won awards. Definitely be back next time we are up this way.

A lovely relaxing weekend stay. The Plough is a great place to visit. Food in the evening is well presented and tasty. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. All the staff are fantastic.
