Northampton South (Wootton)

One night stay for Supercar fest which was a 15minute drive away. Unfortunately, we arrived to discover we didn’t have adjoining rooms (despite a telephone call, to the hotel that morning) and I was initially very frustrated. However, Shannon in reception was very apologetic and explained because the hotel was full, there was no way to rectify this. Without prompting we were offered free breakfast by means of an apology. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the following morning.Happy, our server, was very processional and remained calm and accommodating throughout. Chef, Jackie, served up a lovely breakfast, whilst being rushed off her feet. Would definitely return, if we were travelling to this area again.

It was dark when we arrived & there were no signposts to reception so after driving around the car park we eventually found a sign! The room was booked for 2 adults we were issued 1 key & not asked if we wanted another; the room was basic & located in the annexe & we had to return to reception to get towels, maybe ask for these when checking in. No decaf tea / coffee available. The wifi was shocking & I wasn’t going to pay for an upgrade for 2 hours. Hotel was quite noisy or at least we could hear the people constantly walking around above us. If it’s hotel based on location then it’s a good choice but if you want anything more then …..

There was a lovely family atmosphere. My room had everything in it I needed and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The food was so fresh and great selection. Jackie (server) was so lovely and helpful and Dan (Chef) couldn’t do enough for you - cooked me some poached eggs. Reception staff were welcoming and informative. I would definitely stay here again.

generally good, with good breakfast.. Road noise affected sleep as our room was facing the busy A road, even with secondary glazing this was a factor. A room at back of hotel would presumably be quieter.

Could not fault this hotel, everything was as expected clean rooms and very welcoming staff. Special mention for Jackie in the breakfast room and chef Jo. We were attending the funeral of a close friend so it was nice to be made welcome when we got back to the hotel. Have used Premier Inn in other areas and will continue to do so. Good value too.

I stayed here for work and met Jackie and Dan the chef during breakfast. Jackie initially made our whole group very welcome; taking care of all our needs and ensuring we were looked after! I then chatted with Dan who was incredibly friendly and happy to chat about work - his breakfast was superb and they are a credit to the company!

A little dates but bed as comfy as ever for Premier Inn Breakfast was absolutely delicious made by Chef Dan who was happy, warm and welcoming along with Server Jackie. Best Breakfast I have had in a hotel in a long time!!! Compliments to Dan and Jackie - both lovely

The room was clean and provided everything we needed for our three night stay. The bed was very comfortable and we had a peaceful sleep every night during our stay. The full English breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. All the staff were polite, attentive and helpful. The Queen Eleanor Hungry Horse pub/restaurant located immediately next door is very convenient for lunch and dinner. This hotel is excellent value for money and we have already recommended it to friends. We will book again if we are visiting the area again in future. There was also plenty of free parking available during our stay.

I’ve been here 3 times for business and I’ve met chef Dan twice, he was helpful the first time making my bacon crispy for me and put it into a sandwich which was very nice and he went above and beyond today too when I woke up really late for breakfast and walked into an empty restaurant with nothing but scraps, and he’s gone and made me a bacon omelette that was meant to be for his break, top man like I said been here a few times, no one else has stood out like Dan so I really had to leave a review for him. Thanks Dan Mate!
