Set within it own beautiful 7 acre gardens little norton mill didn't disappoint. The apartment was of high standard, fully equipped with all you could need, with a short walk into little norton village. The onsite owners were welcoming and very attentive to the needs of all guests. We shall be returning and are recommending all our friends and family to visit

This was our 5th year staying at Little Norton Mill - we absolutely love it. We come with extended family and pretty much book out the whole accommodation. It is so peaceful, a great escape from city life. The grounds are stunning and looking out over the mill pond is very relaxing watching the ducks, damsons and the odd sighting of a colourful kingfisher. The friendly Lord Nelson pub is about 10 minutes walk and has regular live music events which is becoming an annual tradition for us. If you are in to park run then Frogmary Farm is a lovely run and only about 15-20 mins drive away. We also like the Antiques Bazaar in Crewkerne. We probably could have got out and about more over the years to visit the many attractions (lots of leaflets and info in the cottages/apartments) but we just like to chill in the grounds and on the decking. I highly recommend Little Norton Mill for anything from a solo holiday to a large family gathering.

LNM is a wonderful place for a short break, and I would highly recommend it. The location is idyllic, nestled in the foothills of Ham Hill, green and tranquil - but within walking distance of shop, pub and very easy access to A303 (not that you would feel that, the road out of sight and out of mind). The cottage we stayed in is of a very high standard, well-equipped and spacious. Always good when your "I wonder if there is a...." question (teapot, recycling system, etc etc) gets a 'yes' answer. Friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful view over the millpond (kingfisher visits to the deck no more than 10m from the cottage), a brilliant folder of local walks. A real winner.

Excellent stay very clean and beautiful setting. We stayed in the lilac cottage which was very comfortable and overlooked the pond. We have booked again for this June and again with my daughter next may. We don't often go away, we are fussy where we stay but this exceeded our expectations. We didn't want to come home Thankyou Review by Colin Carter

We were recommended to stay here by friends. Our experience exceded our expectations. We stayed in Lilac cottage for two nights. Everything about our stay was relaxing and the attention to detail in equipment and decoration is stunning. The view from the patio windows over the lake is so tranquil. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Matt and Abby.

Loved our stay at Little Norton Mill. Accommodation has everything you need very comfy and cosy. Central to explore Somerset, Dorset and Devon without having to drive too far. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and went the extra mile by letting us stay an extra night to which helped us out so thank you. Would recommend staying here and would definitely return

Lovely old converted Mill. Helpful friendly host. Our apartment was great. Walked round the grounds. All very nice with picturesque village and Ham Hill Country Park nearby. Ideal position for exploring the coast as well. Would definitely return! Thank you

Even on a dull, wet day in November we were very impressed when we saw the beautiful, well maintained buildings. Matt and Amy are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and hands on. Amy took the time to show us to our cottage, explain a few basic things then left us to unpack. Our cottages are immaculate, well maintained and facing the lake which an ever changing view because of ducks, birds and the weather: kitchen is well equipped, decor is modern and fresh but still feels warm: all of the furniture, including the beds, is very comfortable: bed linen and towels are good quality. The garden is lovely to walk around any time of day with little touches around every corner including random seating, a ‘band stand’ with a table and benches (with a gorgeous view of the hill), apple trees and some smaller ponds. We walked into the village which is easily accessible, the residents are very friendly and the shop is well stocked with essentials: the Reading Room tea room is welcoming and does delicious takeaways and lunches. The only disappointment was a meal at the Lord Nelson, we tried to discuss it with a staff member but she wasn’t interested so we wouldn’t go back which is such a pity because the service was good, it was just the standard of the meal. This area has so many choices, if you don’t want to go out there is everything local so you don’t have to but if you want to go somewhere there is plenty to do. We have been here a week and enjoyed every single wet and windy minute in this little haven, next year’s return is already planned and will be booked asap to avoid disappointment. We would recommend Little Norton Mill without reservation or hesitation.

The atmosphere around little Norton Mill was instantly warm and welcoming. The cottage soon felt like home especially when our unplanned dessert was lovely stewed apples from the orchard. Although their was nothing wrong with my cottage I was offered a swap after one night purely because it would put me a little closer to my sister. Had a lovely time exploring the village and surrounding area, feeding some tiny ponies and watching a kingfisher from my window. Would have extended our stay but unfortunately the mill was fully booked. Thank you Matt and Abbey for a a lovely stay.
