Clean yes Facilities no good Area is not comfortable

I had a good stay for one night here. The room and bathroom exceeded my expectations. The shower had great pressure and ample hot water. The room was comfortable and had working AC but dim lighting. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee was excellent. It was offered on a terrace with a good view of Nouakchott. The wifi was awful. Although they seem to have a router on each floor, the wifi never connected for me and I had to go down to the lobby every time that I needed to log on. Definitely not ideal for anyone who needs extensive connectivity.

Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.

Ideal location for the centre of town, with a somewhat unusual arrangement of a reception on the ground floor amongst other businesses then rooms on floors 7 to 9. I arrived in the middle of the night and had to check in by phone-light as the main lights were off. All rather odd as the pick up from the airport was fine (and free). Decent sized rooms and suites with everything working as it should. Clean, tidy, if a little worn on places but pretty good for West Africa. Good views from the 10th floor restaurant. I didn’t see anyone eating there which was not surprising as there was better choice and price elsewhere. Skipped what looked a fairly weak breakfast offer in the ground floor cafe though I did have lunch once where the hot food arrived almost cold (and was over-priced). Overall good value and would revisit if in town. Nobody spoke a word of English. Google translate unless you have French or Arabic!
