Residence Yasushi

We Loved Residence Yasushi! It was so comfortable, spacious, clean and perfect for our family snow vacation. We stayed for 1 week. The breakfast was delish and they even accommodated my gluten free husband each morning. The in-house onsen's were clean and just what we needed each day after a long day on the slopes. The staff was great and helped us with dinner reservation each night. Everywhere we ate was so good. We will definitely return to stay at Residence Yasushi!

We receive a very warm welcome with local knowledge offered regarding where to hire skis at a discounted price and recommendations made for every type of meal request. Rooms were pleasant, clean and modern. The pillows and sheets were high quality and the bed super comfy. The customer service was excellent. Between 3pm and 5pm there were coffee, Tea, brownies and cookies presented in the breakfast area. A nice touch. Fantastic place!

We have just spent a week in Nosawa onsen staying at Residence Yasushi. The hotel is light filled, tasteful and spacious. The staff could not be any more helpful helping us with restaurant reservations, transport and tours we needed booking. The rooms are incredibly clean and we loved the fluffy towels and the ability to use the private onsen at the hotel after a days skiing. A hot breakfast was included each morning and freshly baked cakes and biscuits in the afternoon were happily received. Conveniently located near the town centre and main restaurant *****, I would definitely recommend Residence Yasushi and look forward to coming back next time. Thanks so much!

Keisuke and his team made our stay 5 stars! Pre-arrival, they assisted with dining and activity, transportation options. If you’re skiing, they offer day and multi-day discount lift tickets. Shout out to Lily. She was the first employee that greeted us and remembered our names for the entirety of the stay. She treated us well. Breakfast (included) and the tea time were scrumptious! One minor nit pick. The water pressure on the top floor could be stronger.

This is the second time we chose this residence for our stay in Nozawa. The rooms are confortable and very clean, the hotel is calm and the staff is really helpful. We especially appreciated that they offered to book the restaurants in advance for dinner in the village. The home made breakfast is delicious too. We recommend it for sure!

Comfortable and spacious (by Japanese standards!) for a family of 4. Happy we booked a 2-bedroom apartment set up so we had space for all of our ski clothes and gear and separate bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and filling and the staff recommendations for other meals were spot on. It's an easy walk to the rental stores and the lifts. We'd return for sure.

We stayed 4 nights at Residence Yasushi in a Queen Room. The room was a corner room with a great view over the village and had very modern facilities. A nespresso coffee machine as an extra bonus. The facilities were all great, a highlight was the private onsen (x2) that you can book for your use from 6am until late each night. That certainly was used especially after a day of skiing. Breakfast was generous and a highlight was complimentary afternoon tea from 3-5pm each day, very hard to say no to those sweets!

My family spent a week at the hotel. It was fantastic. Great facilities and staff were so accommodating. The position was great, close to the moving walkway. Highly recommended. It also had a private onsen.
