FILTHIEST HOTEL. Unhealthy, unhygienic and very unprofessional. Best location very central in the heart of Nuku'alofa. This place has a serious health risk due to manifestation of cockroaches and ants. Staff members needs uniform to differentiate themselves from guests and visitors. Rooms should be mopped, vacuum, wipes and bedding changed prior to guests arrival. This place needed pest control urgently. The building and structures are beautifully designed. Shower needed new shower head. During our stay the staff carried out serious repair and renovations next door using heavy duty equipment drilling to remove tiles for two days out of our seven days stay without warning us. So inconsiderate and unprofessional as the noises was deafening causing us unnecessary stress 😩. I regretted staying at this hotel and never going back.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly place with excellent service, this is a solid choice! The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the rooms, while simple, are comfortable, clean and spacious. You can request room cleaning as needed. They provide hot and cold showers and a mini-fridge. While there's no WiFi, the beds are cosy and it's a safe environment – perfect for a good night's rest before exploring.

When Tanoa Hotel was filled with conferences, they reserved this 2nd floor concrete hotel built in 2015. Its truely a value by comparison if you can deal with no wifi, no TV and no breakfast. The rest is all here with a clean tiled room beginning with a sink unit with new refer and new hot pot, across a spacious bathroom with new toilet and large tiled shower with electric hot water. Further on is a couch, closet and comfortable queeen, then a sliding door to a balcony overlooking the 1885 Free Church of Tonga.
