Didn’t get to travel due to train cancellation and hotel couldn’t refund due to type of booking. Can’t claim under rule 75 as Tripp.com made 2 separate bookings. One for train one for hotel and raised 2 separate payments. My advice is book yourself, don’t use third party

Clean and tidy, friendly service
There are many fast food restaurants around KFC, McDonald's, SUBWAY, etc. Opposite the hotel is Starbucks, and there is also a Drive-Thru ordering service. Parking is convenient, there is no supermarket nearby, and the breakfast variety is single and fixed.

Lovely hotel with super friendly and helpful staff on hand 24/7, has a 24 hour bar so you’ll never eat thirsty as well as a snack vending machine and amazing continental breakfast. Room was clean, tidy and spacious and had everything we needed, if you forgot anything you could ask for it at the desk for free.

It was awful. The shower had not been cleaned. There was hair in the shower. The bathroom floor was dirty.
I asked for extra pillows as the four you usually get were split between the sofa bed and the queen bed. Had to ask 4 times the lady at the service desk had to call her manager to ask if she could get me the extra pillows and was told no even though the hotel was not fully booked as I have stayed previously when it was really busy. There was a black hair in my beans at breakfast. Never starting there again.
Manager was nowhere to be found when I said I wanted to speak to the manager I was told I would have to wait till the next morning. When I was asked what room I was staying in I said the room number quietly but not so quiet that the lady couldn’t hear me but the lady behind the desk said it very loudly which made me feel uncomfortable as there was a group of men stood behind me. The bed was uncomfortable. Overall terrible would be an understatement.

Staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was decent considering this is an express. The room was very clean and bed and pillows very comfy. Only downside was there is no air conditioning in the rooms so it was extremely warm. Windows also don’t open very wide and traffic is noisy given location. But I was provided with a fan when I asked.

Easy to find fron the motorway. Farmhouse Inn and a Starbucks in walking distance. Quick check in. Nice clean room. Good waik-in shower in Accessible room.
