Hotels near Unschlittplatz in Nuremberg

The hotel was modern and breakfast was very delicious, because there is something for everyone - especially the coffee selection was really super. We were honestly expecting more from the service itself, because the ”reception” at the reception has disappointed me as we indicated extra early trips at the booking, but this was as a surprise on the site. But maybe the staff*in had just a bad day - that can happen :-) The rooms have been good, the TV could be closer to bed for my taste and not at the other end of the room, but that is just one Smallness. And also in the bathroom/WC the division was a little strange, as well as no depot area for face cream and Co. were. In general, it was a good stay and for a city trip the hotel is recommended in all cases, The metro is only a few minutes walk.

The hotel is fairly new and near the train station(both u bahn and regular trains). It is also near the old city where there are many dining options. Nothing really there to complain about.

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

It is very good, it is very good, near the main station of Nürnberg, in less than 10 minutes to the historic centre. 🛏️ Small room with two very small beds, which can't be added because there is a stick anchored to the wall; being a person who is not used to a 90-year-old bed, I have been sleeping fatal. The rest of the room is comfortable, some light comes in because there are no persians and even being next to the train paths no noise is heard. I was very clean and well equipped. 🚽 Small but clean bathroom and equipped with hair dryer. 🥐 Breakfast buffet is quite complete and everything is super rich. 📶 Very good Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel (even when you warn you that the connection can be slow, it works perfectly) 🤵🏻🤵🏼‍♀️ Personal both reception and super friendly coffee shop.

The rooms are small, but very comfortable and tidy. The bedding is comfortable. The parking lot is across the road. The charge is very close to the center of Wucheng. It is very convenient, just in time for the Christmas market and the train station is just across the road from the hotel.

A comfortable room a little further away from the city center, but still within walking distance of the historic center. A very nice service in the reception hall: homemade lemon water for those waiting at the reception - a very welcome relief from the summer heat! Unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning and with 38 degrees Celsius outside, staying in the room was still like going to the sauna. Despite the open windows, it was about 28 degrees until late at night. It's best to ask on your next visit whether the hotel offers air-conditioned rooms.

New and very clean hotel. Very friendly staff. There was a breakfast check-in when we came - almost everything was eaten, but all quite quickly replenished ... Hotel recommends, I will be happy to stop there next time

So many reasons to recommend Sorat Hotel Saxx. Location on the Hauptmarkt is fantastic with the best streets of the old town a short step away. Speediest check in and equally efficient check out by friendly English speaking staff. Good value buffet breakfast (12 Euro), the coffee - and views - were great. Plus complimentary coffee at reception all morning. Best of all, our room (502) - mightily impressed they noted our request for a view and what a view we had across the Hauptmarkt and Nurnberg from the 5th floor. Very comfy bed, effective a/c, everything well maintains. This hotel got our weekend in Nurnberg off to fantastic start. Thank you.

I stayed 2 days for business in the hotel. It is walking distance from the train station (~10-15 min) and it is located just by the highway exit. The hotel is a standard Holiday Inn Express with nice rooms and good breakfast. There is not lunch/dinner service, thus you need to take have it outside. There is a pizza/pasta place right next door. It is quite a long walk from the hotel to the city center.

The hotel is new, close to the railway station and in walkable distance to downtown Erlangen. It provides the standard experience of any recent addition to the Holiday Inn Express chain (good & bad). Cleanliness could be improved. Not sure, if it was a start-up problem, but my bathroom was not cleaned between opened door and wall. That spot is often missed, but in this case there was still dust from construction. Overall value was great with breakfast included, a great rate due to advanced booking and everything nearby. I would stay again.
