We didn't actually get to stay here because we couldn't drive the road to Nuwara Eliya after the flooding. Unfortunately, we couldn't cancel either because of the hotels cancellation policy but they were nice in communication.
Based on other reviews, the room description is a bit incorrect - rather than not having a view it faces a wall but, of course, I cant confirm this. I'd suggest confirming with the hotel about this if you want natural light.

This is one of the most wonderful villas we stayed in in Sri Lanka. The house is very cozy and beautiful, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. Everything is in perfect harmony. For a family or group, this is a truly wonderful option. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

A fantastic location, and the people are very friendly. The only problem we encountered was that everything was extremely damp: bedding, floor, bathroom, towels. There were no windows that could be opened, so the dampness lingered. Breakfast was fine, very Western-style—so if that's what you're looking for, it's great.
In the living room, you can see the water damage on the walls.
Someone was smoking behind our room (outside), and the smoke smell permeated the room, as if someone was smoking next door. All in all, this isn't a place we'd want to return to, despite the friendly people.
