The hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel.
I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer.
Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

Quaint little B&B in central Nuwara Eliyah built in the traditional British style of the town. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast and dinner need to be preordered but were sufficient. No minibar or alcohol available on site. A short walk from town / markets. I would've chosen something more lively but this was booked by my tour company.

Unique Cottages is very much in theme with the town of Nuwara Eliiya’s roots of being built and established by the British, in their traditional style. It is like an old English cottage with high beams, cottage gardens, bookshelves, wooden stairs etc. Dinner was selected from a set menu, The continental breakfast was excellent with fruit, coffee, toast and jams and a cooked component of sausage, beans and omelette. The room and bathroom were both clean and spacious, room had a nice little balcony overlooking the street. I liked it was close and walking distance to the main part of town, and lake Gregory allowing a walk to get to know the town a little. There was only me and one other party of four staying, so as solo traveler I would’ve liked something more lively but if you’re looking for a B&B type arrangement close to town, this quiet place has the right ambience/vibe. (Alcohol is not served and house rules do not permit consumption).

It is a small hotel but very nicely done. It is super quite and exactly what we needed . Enjoyed every bit of it. Stayed only for a day. The staff was very helpful and professional . Will certainly recommend

This is my 4 th stay here, amazing place to be, clean, the most nicest staff and so helpful, most of all the place is so quiet and exactly what I needed, We ordered a rice and curry for lunch, one a the best rice and curries I’ve ever had, oil free and so healthy, will be visiting soon again, Makes us feel at home!
