The Plains Green

Lovely bungalow overseeing a nice hillside. Within sight of wind turbines and a nearby strawberry farm. Rooms are spacious with lots of natural light. This is a little out of the main Nurwaya Eliya town, but worth the drive if you have a driver.

Our stay at "The Plains" in Ambewela was simply incredible. The rooms were spacious and luxurious, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every penny spent here was well worth it for the unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back again!

We had an exceptional experience at The Plains Green Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya. The captivating ambiance, exceptional hospitality, and delectable cuisine made our stay truly unforgettable.💗 The beds were furnished with thermal blankets that provided cozy warmth during the nights. The bathrooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and stocked with fresh towels. The culinary delight surpassed our expectations, with the use of ingredients sourced from their own garden. Additionally, the tractor tour of their fields offered a marvelous experience. There was a guider who clearly explained about their Strawberry farm too. Special commendation goes to Mr. Ilango, whose support and friendliness throughout our stay were noteworthy.⭐️ A small suggestion for the management: Consider renewing the road near the hotel. Apart from that, everything else was superb. Once again a big shout-out to the entire staff and management! Thank you.✨ Without a doubt, we look forward to returning. Highly recommended!!🫶🏻

Excellent location , best place for relaxing with family and friends. Has a scenic view. You will enjoy the hospitality of the Sri Lanka at the best. They will make you to feel like home. The price is little high but worth it. You can access to all the prime spots to visit in Australia with ease

Wonderful accomodation with good rooms, heated rooms, heated beds, good food, and very attentive staff. Great tiolets too. Enjoyed our stay. The staff accomodated all our requests, including a very late breakfast.

Amazing location, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great food. Portions are really big and worth enough. And they taste good. We ordered steaks, pasta, fried rice, pork stew etc. all were great. Comfy rooms with all the facilities. Nice set up.

It was so much fun that we saw the cows in the cows' farm, then we walked in the strawberry farm😊 in the way walking around, we found Mr.ILango who invited us to the restaurant. Road, just around 50m is not good but can manage. The hotel has enough parking lots. Check-in and check-out were quick. The room and bathroom were clean. Fewer facilities in the room, the locker, room heater and wifi were not working. Views from the room and location are amazing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staffs try to do their maximum to make their customers happy. Their hospitality was excellent
