A beautiful place to spend your holiday and relax. Delicious food and rooms were really clean and nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service provided by all staff members and a special thank you to Mr.Shiva and Mr.Frank for all the help & support given throughout our stay. For sure will visit again.

Immenses chambres très confortables. Grande salle de bains qui mériterait une petite rénovation. Repas du soir servi à table très complet. Petit déjeuner en buffet. L'hôtel est situé dans un joli jardin, qui permet de se poser dans le calme.

Very nice small hotel set in a colonial style bungalow, with a well laid out garden. They have just a few rooms, so the vibes are very homely contrasting to the plastic commercial hotels ! On a hill station, staying in a colonial style place adds to one’s experience. Location of the hotel is very good, very close to the golf course, post office and Victoria park, however tracing it was a little challenge as sign boards were missing. They need to put sign board on the main road, like other hotels did. It was a comfortable stay with hot water, twin bed and other basic amenities. The staff was courteous. Highly recommended if not looking for a star rating.

Photos are highly deceiving. Breakfast quality is questionable. It is recycled and very limited options. Hand wash sink floods, hot water shower needs to be held throughout. Rooms are not cleaned. Bed sheets are not changed. Rooms need vacuuming and moping. Very noisy. One can hear all the conversations held in the lobby into your room. Room woods are filthy and creaking. Dinner can't be served if you don't place your order by 6:30 pm.

Beautiful property - Garden outside and nice common area. Rooms are big and comfortable. Decent breakfast and at good location - short walk away from city complex and post house etc. Friendly and helpful staff

Picturesque stay in a very gorgeous area. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful, got us a local cab to sightsee at a cheap rate. If you are staying here do not miss the high tea at Grand Hotel which is at walking distance from Hill cottage.

This is the best place in Nuwara Eliya, the manager Frank and all the staff including Ajith, Shiva, Dilshan provide excellent service, it really feels like home, this is the third time I have visited this year.

A memorable stay with my family at this cool climate. Hill Cottage is one of my favourite places to go for a family vacation. I love the vibe and the surrounding at this beautiful property. Sucha calm environment and cozy rooms to rest. Everything was spotless and the staff was really good . Special thanks to Shivanathan for the excellent service and support throughout our stay . He made sure everything was on point and we almost felt home being at Hill Cottage. Food was good however i suggest that it needs more improvement . Overall everything was truly perfect. I would definetly visit Hill Cottage and there is no hestitation in recommending this lovely property to anyone.
