Comfort Inn & Suites

No one was working the lobby for over five minutes after we arrived. The person that showed up from outside was inebriated and had trouble finishing sentences while checking us in. Finally, the room we were given had not been cleaned since the last occupant. Worst hotel experience ever.

Rather unclean property and quite far from other amenities.

The facility was older and weathered.

Rooms a decent size all the needed features just a little dated kinda felted like i was in a basement surrounded by painted block walls.

The outside energy.

This “hotel” was the worst place I’ve ever been in. This is a stay-to-play hotel, DO NOT BOOK. We drove around to highway side of the hotel to park because that was the closest entrance to our room. It was nighttime, and there was no lighting in the back of the hotel. We walked in to soggy carpet and sagging drop ceilings. For some reason, I was willing to give our room a chance. The room’s lock was broken, the room was not cleaned, and the lights would not work. My family immediately got a refund and found another hotel. Other players were staying here, and one family had a piece of ceiling fall on their face in the middle of the night. Some families stayed for the pool, but the health depar**ent was called on day two and no one could get into the pool. By the end of the first day, most families had spent a lot of money finding last minute hotels downtown.

Day 1, greeted at desk by unsmiling receptionist and told to use entrance 8 in back. Looked like some kind of loading area. Outdoor security lock did not work. Inside room was only one half roll of toilet paper on the dispenser, no tissue paper no spares. Called desk they said would bring some up that they have staffing issues not that there is any reason to tell a guest an excuse like that. Nothing was ever delivered. Day 2, asked for toilet paper at desk was given a roll from the office told again about staffing issues. Came back from being out all day, entered room to find no one had been to service it. Garbage cans were full no paper products, dirty towels on floor no new towels and beds not made. Desk told us you had to ask to replace towels or would only be done every three days. Sign on bath counter stated that but that didn’t explain the lack of anything else being done. Asked to be put on list to have towels replaced every day. Day 3 repeat of day 2 another visit to desk and all same excuses. Day 4 stopped at desk in morning was told hotel was out of toilet paper. Arrived on a Sat. and hotel was filled but Mon. morning parking was empty, Can’t believe they couldn’t get me a roll or two from an empty room. Walmart had plenty on the shelves so this was more a issue of motivation and lack of customer service. Day 5 asked if someone could contact me about partial refund but no one contacted me.
