Holiday inn express is wayyy overpriced! They cancelled my reservation without calling me. They said they called, but I have zero record of that. Took way too long to check in and the room was mediocre at best.

Staff was great. Only had 1 wash cloth in our king bed room and the soap dispenser was mounted to the wall to where you had to dispense the soap and go over the counter about 2 feet to get to the sink. So would have to go over shave kit or makeup kit that was sitting there. Hot tub was under repair or cleaning.

I was extremely disappointed not only in that one of the main amenities (the hot tub) was permanently closed but I found a very alive brown reclus spider in the bathroom and another dead bug on the floor by the refrigerator. When management was told I received 2000 IHG points and an apology. I did not expect to pay top dollar for a cheaper hotels bug worry and lack of sleep. May not bother others but personally have a sever allergic reaction to spiders in particular. Hope any other stays have proven to be as “comfortable” as I am paying for.

Lovely hotel, 20-25 minutes from Ashfall, which was the reason for our trip. This is a great place to stay to do that. Hotel desk staff were very nice & helpful, directing us to a delicious dinner spot! I'd do this again anytime.
