Location is great, but the condition of the rooms is horrible. Hallway carpets are completely stained and dirty - extremely. We had a 2 bedroom suite facing the water front and the first room had a water leak under the kitchen sink. The entire kitchen area and the living room where our son was sleeping on a sofa bed smelled like mold and mildew. The furniture is all chipped and broken, carpets and stained and there were stains on the bathroom walls that I was able to easily wipe off with a Clorox wipe. Which shows that it's not a paint stain, but the cleaning crew is doing a horrible job. When we complained we were offered a different room, but this one was only marginally in better condition and the heater was completely broken - the thermostat did not even turn on. We had to check out 3 days early. We were also charged $60 in parking fees for one night. This is hands-down the worst condition Homewood Suites we have ever stayed at - and we've stayed at Homewood Suites all along the West coast, Texas and the East coast. Location is a fantastic. Hotel condition is horrendous. Really reminds me of a run-down apartment that they would use for housing the unhoused or that they rent to college students with no other options.
