Ramada by Wyndham Oakland Downtown City Center

The Hotel looked nothing like the photos on their website or Trip.com, when my daughter and I arrived there...I thought I was getting a room with double beds, turns out, their interpretation of double beds is one bed in the room. The room they assigned us was very frightening. The carpet was torn, stains on the wall, small TV's on the wall, maybe you will get a remote control or not, it's like scratching a scratch off to see what you will get. The first room, the remote control did not work, in the second room it did, and not to mention the TV was hung on the wall crooked so, you had to turn your head side ways to focus in on the TV. Just simply, a horrible experience! The hotel looks like they house homeless people there. The carpet smells like urine. The bathroom was okay, except in the bathtub there was rust near the drains. I instantly requested another room with two beds. The manager cooperated and was very nice, giving us another room. The room with double beds was a little better. However, in the closet it smelled like urine also, no body wash soap, neither was there hand soap, so you essentially had to bathe with shampoo. There was no parking garage, so you have to park on the streets and pray that your car windows didn't get busted out or get a ticket on your car. Last, just one or two blocks away, is homeless and drug activity on the streets. I would not recommend this hotel, until they improve their brand from the inside out.

My stay at the hotel was just okay. While the room was clean and the service and location were good, the room itself was too small. My biggest issue was that my room was never cleaned, and no one ever asked if I wanted cleaning services 😞

Not bad, not a bed to share but overall it was decent

Room was small but really comfy and adequate. Easy check in and breakfast was good! Nice size refrigerator. No lite in closet! All in all good price on room!
