I enjoyed my stay (and continued)

An excellent hotel, among the complete infrastructure of the Oba area. The hotel has a wonderful buffet, the food is very tasty. 5 minutes walk to the sea, everything is close. The room is great for one, a little cramped for two, but perhaps there are other rooms. I really liked the hotel and the hotel staff. There is wifi everywhere, everything is convenient.

The bartenders and their staff are exhausted, but the children still do their best. Staff is short. But let's take the cook part for example, there is an excess of staff. The cook, around 40 years old, working at the snack restaurant next to the bar, is very sullen. Although his face can't spoil my fun. All the young people serving the tables in the restaurant are enthusiastic and good at their job. But their workload is excessive. I do not remain silent while taking millions from the hotel and losing the lives of the staff. I can't tell you what a bad impression it was when a person at the hotel bar hit on a foreign customer whose name I will not mention. I think he thought we didn't speak English. Afterwards, I asked for his free special and he sent me with another simple drink that he prepared in 30 seconds. Considering the cultural level, I didn't pay much attention to it. I send my love to other bartender friends. Yes, some local customers come with a really touchy attitude and prejudices, there is discrimination against Turkish customers, etc. I did not go with this impression because there are really problematic profiles in our country. Despite this, even though I went with zero prejudice, the hotel reception forced me to leave a negative comment. First of all, we were given the smallest room on the floor. Hotel manager and receptionist friends who think they are very smart should read carefully from here. Just because we did not specify a room, we were given the narrowest room I have ever seen in my life (which I think should be closed). I went downstairs in a calm and polite manner and asked. At first they told me they were full, I said I understand you, but there will be exits etc. He said it was very difficult, but let's take notes, etc. I was passed over. Then I went down again and said, "I hope you took notes, it didn't seem like that to me, but look, I'm asking you, I'm not that profile that creates tension, I asked nicely, I would be very grateful if you could help me." Again, there are places available on Wednesday, let's not make any promises, but (the hotel manager conveyed this part in this way, I will try to arrange it on Wednesday) Finally, my wife came downstairs as a bad cop and said, "I will never accept it, you cannot stay in that room", etc. He held it out for a while, the manager tampered with the screens, said there is a place tomorrow (Tuesday), let's arrange it. Now I ask you, Mr. Principal, is your attitude towards someone who speaks like a man? Is being polite a crime? If you open your mouth, the first thing you will complain about is the Turkish customer. So bro, you are doing what the bad cop wants?? We saw that our wishes could be achieved through police tactics, whether good or bad, that we did knowingly and willingly. In addition, foreign tourists arrange cheaper places on this platform, while Turkish tourists pay more (in dollars). What is your problem? I couldn't figure it out. Apart from these The hotel's gym 10/2 is unusable Some products in the hotel's food are not available until they are first grown. . There are more standard products and they are added without any problems. Cutlery is not refilled fast enough. The culprit is the lack of staff, namely the management. You give these young people a penny, but you make the most money off their backs. I saw that the senior staff was in good spirits. Finally, I would like to convey my love and respect to animator Tayfun. Without that, time won't pass in your hotel :) I give the hotel neutral due to poor management and low staff. I'm changing it to negative instead of neutral because of the management that ignores customers who think they're smart. I close this review with a score of 10/5.

Cheap and good fully equipped apartment. Nice location for a short walk to the cafe in the park by the sea. Very friendly welcome and farewell. We will book it again and again for short stays before a flight. It is definitely very good for longer stays too.

Reserved for the family and they are happy with it

What can I say this hotel is lovely my sister and I are here at the moment we go home tomorrow. I cannot fault anything about the hotel, someone said about noise we have had no problems at all with noise and any noise that you can hear ie music is from the bars. Oba is in the centre so you expect there to be some noise so if you don't like a little noise I suggest you find a deserted island somewhere. Staff are great a taxi into alanya town is only 200 lira where can you go in a taxi in England for that price??? We are arranging to come back in may with our partners love oba star yes the pool is not that big but the beach is 5 mins away (walking) would recommend oba star to anyone the food there is always a lot of choice yes not everyone's cup of tea but if you don't want to try foreign food stay in the uk simple. Staff are great oh and have a massage there brilliant

Request a pool view room on a higher floor.Plenty of food choices- all inclusive. Rooms cleaned daily. Entertainment every day and night except Sunday. Two pools - one is smaller than the other. Our room was ample for the week. Not many British guests. A suggestion for the pool area- have a designated no smoking area. This would make a massive difference. Would recommend this Hotel- it's not far from shops- restaurants and pubs.

The reception's friendliness leaves much to be desired, if you complain about the conditions, they smile but don't solve anything. The standard rooms are very small, in the description of the hotel it is specified that they are 22 m.p. but in reality they only have about 16 m.p. The bathroom is dirty and smells of mold. Fridges useless because they don't cool. The only plus would be the food, which is quite varied. At night, until 1 a.m., the volume of the music at the pool is set to maximum

Very good hotel, clean, cosy The best food ( buffet) in town The staff is marvelous, loving, caring and very friendly. Beds are stiff, but comfortable. Good pillows. Regularly cleaned. Rooms are not very big, but there are special family rooms. Regularly animation Turkish night, dance Karaoke Belly dance

Brilliant stay yet again. I was here last year and enjoyed it so much I couldn’t wait to come back. Food is really good with lots of choice. Staff are really nice as well. 10 days flew past a really enjoyable stay. I’m booked to come back for another 10 days in October. See you soon

Super hotel, the food is very tasty. There is a lot of it and you can eat it often. The staff are very nice and friendly, always smiling. I liked Huseyin, the manager of the waiters the most. Thanks to him for the Turkish evening. Also thanks to Murat for his care and protection from drunken customers.

Very friendly staff and an amazing management team they offer a wide variety of services. Food is superb with a variety of choices available all day and night. The only let down is the entertainment is really poor but does not take away from the hotel and staff who are more than happy to cater for your every whim. If you are visiting alanya I recommend staying at oba star.

Really lovely hotel great food 24 hr bar and Jonno the night bar man is ace ,his real name is cihangir ,very friendly and welcoming,hotel is very clean ,not far from the beach ,and shops and bars would definitely recommend this hotel ;restaurant gives a great choice of different foods ,and the red wine is lovely
