The hotel itself is a bit elder, but the rooms are all renovated. The hotel has his own parking places. Good accessibility. The location close to the park and the center is perfect. Everything was fine. I will come back.

The hotel is wonderful in many aspects. The interesting thing is that it is located in Walliselen, just right next to Glatt Zentrum shopping department store. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access throughout the property. The Internet speed is fast. With the modern electric tram, not only the bus, brings me to reach the city center of Zurich and the Main Train Station in short time. In the room, it provides a flat-screen cable TV, a desk, and a bathroom with shower. At lobby area, I noticed that guests can also enjoy the food corner. There is a vending machines there. When need anything, the 24-hour front reception always is there. Very helpful staffs. I also would like to mention the General manager, Mr. Frank Trapa. He is very friendly. I was there for 2 days, from 9 to 11 May, I was there together with my wife. The Hotel is quite good .Admittedly we waited a while to check-in, a lot of guests just arrived , but after that everything was fine, great service at the reception , we were by car ,the lady from the front desk showed us how to get to the parking lot. The room was small but pleasant and clean, breakfast good, staff very good. If Im ever in Zurych definitely come there back.

We arrived a day early for our tour and didn’t think our room would be available yet, but the front staff asked for 15 minutes to check with house keeping. We lucked out and our rooms were available early. 300ish room courtyard side which is only one floor up. Bit of noise from the other side of the hotel due to construction, but not noticeable in our room. Great air con or use the large windows. Shower very hot so you don’t need to set it too high. Bit more modern than my taste, but grows on you and not garish colours. Easy tram ride to the old town for site seeing or take a stroll along the river beside the part. Wonderful gardens. Breakfast is plentiful and can be chaos in the morning when there are three groups in the hotel. Suggestion: Move the centre aisle of tables half a foot to the left so the the aisle on the right when you face the food is a bit larger. Use the first table on the right for the bowls and plates. Helps out those that are shorter. The people flow is better when it is right to left since the coffee machines are on the left. We did this flow the last day in the hotel with our group and it was less congested at the coffee.

Great central location in Area called ENGE opposite station, trams and near supermarkets and restaurants. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you need incl dishwasher KETTLE, TOASTER and fridge and microwave and hob. VERY clean everywhere. Reception, Bar, cleaning and kitchen staff all friendly and helpful but the blonde man who sits in the dining room to register you for breakfast every morning was glum, unwelcoming, lazy and unfriendly. He sat there doing nothing when he should have been replenishing the jams and bread etc. Breakfast is same daily;- (lovely fresh bread), hard boiled cold egg, croissants, Bircher Muesli and 1/2 cereals plus whole apple or orange and drinks. Our appartment studio room was good value £700 for 5 nights 1st to 6th Feb 2024 but was very cramped. A fat person could not get into the bed as the side access was too small as was bedside cupboard. Not enough wardrobe space to hang clothes or floor space to move comfortably. The bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday evening. Duvet too hot for room.

A strange experience. Main issue was the lack of air conditioning - it was 31 degrees outside and around double that in the hotel. I find it astonishing that a/c is absent in a country that has hot weather for at least 4 months a year. Another problem was arriving at 2pm and having to wait an hour to check in (with a tired baby). In fairness we discovered that the official check-in time is 3pm, but we didn’t see more than about 20 other guests, so I have no idea how it could take them so long to clean the rooms. Clearly the hotel does not employ enough cleaners. The staff were generally helpful, especially the manager of the terrace restaurant. However the above issues spoiled the visit.

This hotel is opposite IKEA. It doesn’t look much from the outside and you’ll not be blown away as you walk-in either. However, the receptionist was extremely helpful on checkin as well as at other times of my stay, including recommending somewhere to eat and booking a taxi for my return to the airport. The room was pretty good, great sized TV, comfy bed and very good shower. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good. I’d stay here again if visiting the area on business.

Are you a business traveller seeking a comfortable place to stay with good service at a reasonable price? Then B&B Hotel Rumlang is hard to beat. I stay here regularly and I find the value, the quality of the rooms, facilities and services very good for the price per night. I know that when I arrive here, a comfortable bed, a clean room with simple offerings, and a good nights rest is what is waiting for me. It isn't the Hilton, but that's not what I am expecting - easy access to work, quiet nights rest in a cosy atmosphere at an affordable price, is. The bed was very big, two pushed together. Because the extra bed was too bad, the family of four ended up sleeping in the big bed. It was not crowded, and it also had air conditioning. It is absolutely impossible to live without air conditioning in the European summer. Dinner was settled in the hotel ~ it was just average.
